    Great Hotel Close to Fukushima-Ku Train Station

    My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 4 nights from 1st Oct. The hotel is a convenient 5 minute walk from the train station, and is located in a vibrant street of small independent cafes, restaurants and Izakayas. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. This hotel has excellent laundry/washing facilities if you're on a tour of South Japan. We ate delicious Japanese food at breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel.

    We spent 5 nights here and found it be an excellent hotel. It is quite new, and nicely designed - the rooms are of a decent size, and well designed. We overlooked the train tracks, but didn't have any problem with noise - overall, we found the room to be very quiet and slept well. The location was great - a short walk to the local station, and then just one stop to the central shopping district. Some great art museums and the Nakanoshima river district were just 15 mins walk away. Loads of great bars and restaurants immediately around the hotel. A very good hotel, and would happily stay again.

    This hotel was fantastic. A real surprise and a lot better than we were expecting. We stayed in a family room with 3 very large single beds. The room was a great size with plenty of room for us. Location - The streets below are filled with restaurants that are busy with locals. There is also an Oasis food store at the end of the street and 7-11 at the other end next to the train station. The train station was easy to use and get around the city from. As a family we really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again.

    Very conflicted writing this. We booked this hotel with some concerns but trusted that the hotel would accommodate our request to face away from the train tracks. We were put on L10, yet the trains every few minutes running into midnight (and restarts at 5am) was just terrible for us. Hotel tried to change our room to an even higher floor but still facing the tracks. We just couldn’t. While the row of restaurants below are lovely, local vibes and all, I honestly don’t recommend staying in Fukushima. Try to stay at Umeda/ Osaka station itself, as the train ticket costs for just one stop is not worth the hassle. Positive of this hotel is indeed the well designed sizable and modern bathroom, excellent shower pressure, even a good bathtub inside the shower space. It was my favourite bathroom (amusing but true) compared to the other hotels we stayed in Osaka this trip.

    Great location if you are visiting Universal and Dotonbori.

    Great hotel if you are planning on doing Universal. We picked this hotel as it was on the line to go to Universal. It was well appointed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious (by Japanese standards) and amenities were plentiful.
