    Very sketchy location. Reception was very deceptive, as soon as you get to the hallways and rooms it looks like a scene from a horror movie. It is filthy, mold, water damage, the walls are peeling, there are stains all over. Found blood and hair on the bed and pillow. We checked out immediately

    The hotel is located close to JR Osaka Station, which is a 10 minutes walk from/to the hotel via the Whity underground shopping mall (Exit M14). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores within 5 minute walking distance. Although my room is small, it is clean and comfortable. The hot water in the bathroom is fast, and the wifi is strong. In the hotel lobby there are basic toiletries, bathrobes and paper cups, and a coffee dispenser available from 2pm to midnight. Reception staffs may not be fluent in English so Google Translate is very helpful. Room rates here are competitive compared to other hotels in the same area.

    Hotel Osaka is within walking distance of the center and the metro station. There is a market around it. There are free tea and coffee facilities. Cream cheese is a local suggestion for breakfast. The staff was very helpful and hardworking. I would like to thank all the staff for their services. The reason for giving 3 points is that the rooms are old and in need of change. I think if the rooms are improved, it will become a much better hotel.

    Close to everything, yet not too crowd neighbourhood

    I stayed here for 5 days with my husband. Like any other 3 star hotels in Japan, the room was so small but OK for me since we only need the room to sleep and bath. It's 10 min walk from Osaka City Station, though we learnt this on the 3 day of our stay. 😬 The surrounding was safe and not too crowd. I love how this hotel has applied the environmental friendly service so we didn't mind if they don't clean the room everyday but will change the plastic bag for the trash everyday. I just didn't like the old elevator, it's super small so only fit for 2 persons with 2 big luggages.

    Lovely entrance, friendly and helpful staff. Small double room booked. Compact but everything that was needed. Nice breakfast, free curry sauce on rice for dinner or just as a filler meal. Free coffee afternoon and evening. Great value. Will stay again when we return to fly out.
