  Mould in dated bathroom. Small room with horrible carpet. Good location.

  The location of this hotel is fantastic for getting around Osaka as it's close to the station. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. Aside from that, I would never stay here again. The rooms are in dire need of renovation, especially the bathroom, which was very small with dated pink tile. The worst thing about the bathroom was the shower curtain with mould on it, the mould on the ceilings and around the edge of the bath. Even after cleaning, the mould was still there. There's products to treat this sort of issue, and the shower curtain should have been replaced.The room itself was small, although I expect rooms to be small in Japan, so this wasn't too much of an issue. There was a small closet, which was good to have. However the carpet was worn and looked dirty.

  This hotel (annex) is conveniently located at the terminus of the airport bus in Osaka. We enjoyed their breakfast, which was provided at the main hotel. This hotel is also close to underground rail, restaurants and shops. We would recommend this hotel to visitors who are looking for a hotel that is close to everything.

  Located minutes away from JR Osaka Station , the hotel is the economical version of their main hotel , Hotel New Hankyu Osaka , and is further away from the train station. The hotel is a no frill business hotel which is small but very clean , in case you have a larger than cabin size luggage, you would have challenges managing it.Breakfast in the hotel is standard western set for around 1300 yen and if you want a more complete buffet breakfast , you need to walk 3-5 mins to the main hotel .

  A hotel that doesn't win with service, price or amenities

  I decided to try a new hotel location while staying in Osaka and it was a mistake. There are certain things you don't want to experience with a hotel and that's bad service and a room that looks like it's falling apart. When it comes to the location, you'll be a short walk from the main area of Umeda. While it isn't a far walk, the location doesn't really have any quick access to convenience stores or markets. As far as the area, you're going to get an ample selection of restaurants, which is great if you love going to eat out. While the check-in process was okay, having staff that are still in training may not be best option for the peak travel season. Rather than getting a smooth check-in, many questions were asked, and while nothing was wrong, the person was constantly having to check with management. And the kicker, this was all at the self-check-in station. I think where things really fell apart is when it came to the room. Overall, the room was fine, but the ceiling paper was coming off, which was concerning. There were also spots that were covered, which made me wonder what was underneath. Would I stay here again? Never. But it was worth checking out just to see what level of service and amenities that Hotel Hankyu offers. If you can get this place for cheap, check elsewhere, I don't think you'll be happy with what you get.

  Good location and basic comfortable stay

  Hotel strictly adheres to 3pm check in. Else, pay. They have a section where guests can chain lock with passcode their luggage while waiting for check in/out. I don't prefer as it's in the open. I have box and no way up chain lock. Self check in but hotel will guide for input.Breakfast is only 1 kind and I took same for 6 mornings. I can go New Hankyu but didn't bother. Hotel members could speak limited English and basic communication is possible. As I stayed in Nov, there wasn't air conditioning in room and I had to open window. Tended to be noisy but after 11 pm, still OK. Bed is comfortable. Pump shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash. Don't prefer. Extra basic toiletries also available in n lobby. Provided daily 2 bottles of water.Iron and board needed to call front desk and only 1 hour use .
