  A great experience at Universal

  Well this review is a bit overdue. I highly recommend this property for its proximity to Universal Studios Osaka. It was super easy taking transit from the airport to the property. We arrived on a slightly drizzly evening on April 9, but even then it was a quick 7-10 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel while lugging 4 large suitcases. The best part about the location was the theme park did not feel overwhelming. After a tiring day, it was a quick five minute walk to the hotel. Lots of western food options, the best of which was Shake shack. Leave it to the Japanese to make American fast food taste healthy. Once you get to the minion themed hotel, the comfort begins. Check-in was a bit chaotic, but keep in mind. It’s not anything to do with the hotel but more to do with the amount of small, super excited kids checking in. It is a minion themed hotel after all and the way, they designed it, it felt like it was part of the theme park. I cannot recommend the spark room enough. Perfect space for a family of four and we loved having 2 1/2 bathrooms. The view was phenomenal specially at night. Full floor to ceiling windows with one side, looking out to the theme park and the other side, looking out to the harbor. The theme park view was terrific as we can see the lineup to the entrance from our room which made strategic planning to go pretty easy.They provide pyjama sets for the kids, slippers, and lots of amenities/toiletries. One thing we discovered is there is only the minions movie playing on TV in Japanese on repeat and the rest of the TV shows were in Japanese language only. We didn’t go to watch TV so we were not curious enough to figure it out.We loved the buffet every morning and it was organized, despite all the children and families. My kids loved the kids buffet at their height, and in expected Japanese fashion, all food tasted fresh and healthy.   A hotel still in its best quality after 6 years

  After 6 years of revisit with my second kid, the hotel is still the perfect one for our family when visiting Osaka, don't even said when go to USJ. The front desk is still bright as new and staff are very helpful.The 3 beds room is just fit for 4 of us. all in-room facilities are in good condition.The amazing breakfast buffet still in good quality which my elder son said it is the best in whole trip. I quite sure will stay for another 2 night when we go to USJ when my small kid grow up.   The hotel has a minion theme and a beautiful chandelier and a nice waiting area for check in that builds anticipation for the stay. Upon check in we were provided an information sheet and told that only one person must check in with the passports and the rest of the family must sit down in the waiting area. Bathroom amenities can be collected from an island across from registration. The elevators have a star motif and the interior changes colors as you ride the elevator. Our room is facing the bay, which was, unfortunately, not a pleasant view, there are no cabinets or drawers for clothing, for those of us accustomed to U.S. hotels. The hallway has pegs with hangers which was very convenient. The room has high ceilings so you don’t feel cramped. They provide slippers and pajamas, which I realize now is common for Japanese hotels. We didn’t order breakfast with the room. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that we were in the wrong line. We were the only family there, the signs were in Japanese so we walked towards the only person there. Inside the restaurant there were signs instructing guests on good manners. The breakfast was expensive so we only ate there once. I recommend visiting the sister hotel for more meal selections. We enjoyed Rex Cafe for a more affordable meal. Even City Walk and Lawsons has meal options. The floor had a microwave in the ice, vending machine, water area. This is useful if you choose a meal from Lawsons (which also microwave food and offer a hot water dispenser). Downstairs on 2F there are the laundry facilities and luggage storage. There is also a smoking room. The cloak area will ship your luggage to your next destination so you don’t need to haul them around during rush hour in a subway station. We enjoyed our stay and staff were friendly enough but there is a vibe there. The hotel seems to have created a set of rules to become more efficient and you feel it.   a very good hotel in Universal Studio Japan area

  bright color style, clean and tidy room, enough bath area, comfortable bed and pillow, vety friendly service, 3 minutes walking distance to Universal Studio, a Lawson shop cling to the hotel. In a word, a wonderful hotel for travlers to Universal Studio with high cost performance.   Walking distance to USJ. Good breakfast spread. Friendly staff. We got the Mansionette, stairs are quite steep and tall, to take note. Ferry is behind the hotel for a trip to the aquarium or animal cafe. Family mart on 1st floor of hotel. Very convenient. Amenities not available in room, need to get from lobby during check in.
