  15 minutes walk from main station and shopping areasLovely hotel very clean and modern. Rooms had slippers toothbrushes shampoo etc and pj’s. Bed was comfy.There was a hot drink machine etc in lobby free of charge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cleaning was done daily if required and water bottle given daily

  ideal location ....... namba station is near by, better check exact exit from the station as we exited from wrong gate and ended with long route. Rooms are very small, better look for larger room, ideal for short stay 1-2days and for single person. For a couple or 2 pax better look for a larger room.

  Location is the only selling point of this hotel. Breakfast spread is so-so. Staff are not so friendly. The rooms are just fine, but they are just good for sleeping and putting your stuff when you're out travelling. Note really for a staycation type of thing. But the location is near Namba and it is really convenient.   ***WARNING:*** Do NOT stay at this location, there are plenty of other hotels in Osaka. You are probably attracted to the closeness to Namba Station or the price but believe me you will regret spending your money here given many circumstances. Without going in to too much detail, the rooms are extremely unclean. Starting with the room key cards, I understand the ability to reuse and recycle the cards after each stay but when your card is brown and clearly used, that should already be a red flag. When you enter the room, make sure you examine the room before you settle in and check out immediately so they do not find an excuse to charge you for one night or ask for another room (which they won’t give you causing you to find another hotel at 10pm at night after a 5 hour commute). Bathroom: There were stains on the walls near the sink and a pile of long blonde hair dangling off the towel, some of it looked like bodily fluids from a previous guest?Bed: When you lift up the sheets, you will find some black dots on the sheets. I ripped off the blanket while I was on the phone with my reservation agency to let them know how disgusting the rooms were.Bed frame: Both rooms head headboards that had finger prints from prior guests.Curtains: Without even touching this, there was what appeared to be a bug 1/3 of an inch long on the curtain. If a sanitary temporary living area is not your concern then go ahead and book but I can only tell you my honest opinion to help you avoid any disappointment upon arrival. I’m sure after my case, house keeping will do a better job in cleaning. There are a couple of more reasons with the front desk why I would not recommend to stay here but I wanted to share my main concern with future guests. Japan is very clean and they take pride in that so I was shocked Red Roof Inn Namba was by far the most dirty place I have ever seen.They do have one management staff (Tsai) who cared about his guests and tried his veg best to make it better after the fact. However, his hands were tied when I tried to ask for a refund as I did not stay in the rooms that night. I understand not refunding the customer if they stayed or just changed their mind. But when it’s a clear sanity issue with your location, that’s a huge concern! I will ensure that their health department is aware as well as report this to consumer affairs as this decision was unacceptable. Poor internal management decisions that do not take ownership of their mistakes.

  We stayed on level 8, room was right across from the elevator. People should keep in mind that when they are in the hallway, they should use their indoor voice and don't let their kids run around in the hallway. The location of this hotel is very good. It's about 10 minutes away from the Namba Station. Kuromon is 2 minutes away, you just need to cross the street basically. And there is a lawson across the street and one around the corner. The room is small, can't really open two luggages at the same time, but you pay for what you get, so no complain there. The washroom was really nice, the shower head had a very good water pressure.
