The hotel is 1-minute walk from Esaka Station (Exit 9) on the Midosuji metro line (4 minutes by metro from Shin-osaka Station, 9 minutes by metro from Umeda Station), 25 minutes by train and 15 minutes by a car from Osaka (Itami) Airport and 45 minutes by train and 90 minutes by a car from Kansai International Airport.

Facility

The hotel has 3 lifts and features 210 single rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     The hotel is a fair way from the railway station but close to the subway. The room was very hot, the window was not able to be opened. The room was clean and basic. The pillow was very hard. The shower was very god, located within the bath. Care needs to be taken coming out. The staff were very good. Wi-Fi was good, breakfast was good.

    Great location, excellent service, very clean rooms , breakfast amazing. Close to subway. Restaurants and bars close. Washing facilities available.front of house staff excellent. Access to all stations by subway. Good shopping in centre

    Second stop of our honeymoon and prior to that, I won a free night stay at this hotel in a lucky draw by fluke. Located next to the train station so getting to the hotel from the Shin-Osaka station was convenient, albeit long. The hotel is rather dated, the room was quite dated too and the bathroom had a musty smell. It was for a night's stay so we did not bother to change. The staff knew that we were on our honeymoon and prepared a handwritten welcome note for us. It was very, very sweet! Breakfast at their restaurant was a noisy affair - a huge spread of international and local offerings. Nothing to shout about but it was a rather comfortable stay. The rooms could be updated though.

    We are a physically active family and daily physical training and exercise is crucial. Unfortunately, the disadvantage is the lack of any fitness center or gym at the Shin-Osaka Esaka Tokyu REI Hotel.Nonetheless, there is an Anytime Fitness gym across the street on the 6th floor by Starbucks. I purchased a membership equal to 1 month but an excellent investment. Open 24 hours and designed for fitness athletes.** However, outside of the lack of a fitness center, we were very pleased with our stay- please read further.Our 5 day Christmas stay at Shin-Osaka Esaka Tokyu REI Hotel was an enjoyable stay. The location is a very close 5 minute walk to the train station as well as the neighborhood has many local cafés, restaurants, super markets, 24 hour convenience stores and shopping department stores. The room is compact, clean and functional. My family of 3 shared 2 beds. We were satisfied with our affordable stay. We were only in our room to rest, sleep and shower. We were always out exploring the city. When we returned in the evening, the room was always fresh, clean and bathroom provisions.Please Note, that the beds are very solid and firm. The pillows are very low profile and contoured. Expect sleeping on a very solid mattress and firm bed.Lastly, we had daily breakfast at the hotel lobby restaurant. Both Japanese and Western selections. Delicious and appetizing.     Comfortable and convenient stay

    My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights while travelling in Japan. A decent, wallet-friendly hotel in a good location. The hotel is conveniently right by Esaka station and also connected to a small mall of sorts with shops and cafes, which we enjoyed. There are also many shops outside near the hotel as well as a cute taiyaki place. Esaka station is on the Midosuji line, which made it easy to travel to most places.The hotel staff were also friendly and polite, in particular the cleaning staff. They were also kind enough to look after our luggage after checkout so we could explore Osaka a little longer.The rooms were small but this seems to generally be the case for Japan. For the price, I can't really complain. We shared the room but did not have any real issues regarding space.
