    Convenient location for Universal studios

    rating13 May 2026

this hotel is perfectly located if you’re visiting Universal Studios, it is located right in the train station so transport is a breeze. It is however, rather distant from the main Osaka visitor locations, such as Osaka Castle, or the Sumo Arena. The rooms are relatively spacious for Japan standard and very clean. They are very self service and do not offer room service or restaurant outside of breakfast hours. The hotel has a great spa, but that has the Japanese traditional standard, tattoos are not allowed and they are nude and gender separate, so bring something to cover your tattoos with. The breakfast is fairly poor in terms of options and much of the hot food is actually colder than desirable. It is the worst breakfast so far in my Japan visit which is why I’m only providing four out five stars. It is however, a very convenient hotel for the prize, and I would still recommend it although I would advise to steer clear from the cold scrambled eggs.

    Not worth it.

The room and bathroom was very small and cramped to other hotels within the area. It’s not worth it! Just stay at park front hotel. The breakfast in this hotel is not that great! Facilities poor.

Best value hotel for the location!

    rating16 Mar 2026

The location to Universal Studios is the best part about the hotel (as one would expect) with the train station almost literally outside the hotel doors, and the Universal Skywalk only a minute further. It is a well kept hotel, with a nice breakfast buffet with both western and Japanese options. My jaw dropped when I saw our room. I did spend a bit extra to get a really nice room, and it was well worth it as we had gorgeous views of the bridge on one side and the Universal Skywalk on the other side. Best room in our entire Japan trip.If you want to get to the city you have to take the JR Yumesaki Line and then the Osaka Loop Line, you may get lucky and only have to take one of those on the way back. The biggest downside is if you wanted to use the washing machines, as I found them incredibly frustrating to use, have to run them a couple times to dry (which gets expensive) and they are usually full before 11am and after 5pm. I would recommend not using them at all.Room type: High Floor Superior Corner Twin Room with Sofa Bed - Non-SmokingPaid: ¥118,000 (approximately) for 4 nights

    beds suck

    rating21 Jan 2026

the location is good but the atmosphere isnt great. the room is large but the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. would not recommend booking if youre planning on using the sofa bed, and the staff are unwilling or unable to provide extra comforters for the 'mattress'. genuinely feels like youre sleeping on the floor. too expensive for the experience you get and the breakfast is horrible

    Good value hotel

A decent USJ affiliate hotel. Small sized rooms compared to some of the others in the area. Lovely staff and very clean. Would recommend to those wanting to keep the cost of stay down as was very good for the price.
