    Ideal for getting to know Akihabara (And Tokyo)

    The & AND hostel akihabara is very well located, less than5 mins walking from Akihabara train station (JR) in an areawith a lot of life. We took a double room. The bed was wide enough Icomfortable. The bathroom and shower are shared, but they are very clean and there were no queues. The staff are very friendly and try to help. They try to createa little hostel life with the clients (they arrange concerts, they do games with chips to pay for drinks ...), but customers do not really pay attention. It is a pity.

    Less than five minutes walk from Akihabara station through Showadori exit. Really convenient to get around and two stops away from Tokyo station if you’re taking shinkansen out of the city.This is the first hostel that I’ve stayed that charges for towel. For the five nights that I stayed here, not a single day that my room was cleaned. Staff was unapproachable and cold, hoping that no one would approach them.Other guests on the same floor were really loud, running at the corridor. Worst sleeps I’ve had at this place. Tv only have Japanese channels. You can use Netflix though, if you can navigate through the kanji haha. Really sad considering a capsule hostel did leaps and bounds better than this place.The only positive thing? Leaving.

    +5 stars for location and price. Really centralized-1star for sewage smell. Ask for 3rd floor if you have a choice. Don't stay in the 4th-1 star for thin walls. I could even hear hair dryer from washroom though we stay at the far end

    This hostel is just amazing, the beds are so fine, and they even have a bat at the lobby, good prices and good service. You can meet tons of fantastic people right there. Nothing else to say, it seems just perfect!

    Amazing hostel with friendly staff.The showers are super clean and are available 24 hours.Their English skills are amazing, so don't worry even if you can't speak Japanese!It's close to Akihabara station too.
