  Pretty good but small

  This hotel was decent to stay 3 nights while in Tokyo. The location is cool, the room is clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast provided was quite nice but you have to walk about 5 minutes to a french bakery which I didn't mind. The wifi was ok but not that quick I didn't think. The rooms are small but manageable.

  AVOID AT ALL COSTBooked this hotel through booking.com and two days before my stay the booking was cancelled by the hotel, I was never contacted by the hotel or the website. When I called and emailed the hotel they simply said they couldnt help me and for me to speak to booking.com. Booking.com never replied to my messages either, but the hotel staff took no interest in helping me. The only option thwy provided me was to book the stay again at a more expensive rate and refused to offer the same rate originally booked at. Due to the unhelpful attitude of the staff I would highly suggest to to avoid this Hotel at all costs. The fact that the booking was booked two days before made it more difficult and expensive to find another alternative.

  if you want to be in akihabara, there is no better place.

  This is my go to hotel everytime i have to go to akihabara, keep in mind this hotel chain apa, its for business people who just need a room to rest, rooms are extremely small, everything is clean and straight to the point. This is perfect place to stay if you have business in akihabara, mandarake is right next door, and every store is near by. tori fumiyoshi, 支配人 at APA Hotel Akihabaraeki Denkigaiguchi, responded to this review Dear customer, Thank you for staying with us. l am happy to see you were satisfied with our location.We are located only a few minutes away from both the JR and metro stations.It is a great location to enjoy shopping without having to worry about carrying your shopping bags with you for the whole day. As we are located in the heart of Akihabara Electric town, the size of our rooms are limited. And if you are tired, it is convenient to comeback to the hotel for a quick rest anytime.   Perfect if you love Akihabara

  The hotel was perfect for us as we would spend a lot of time shopping in Akihabara. The room was fine for two people and it was very clean. Even though there were some buildings in the surroundings under construction, the room was soundproof and I could sleep peacefully.I would totally recommend this hotel!   This is a small business hotel in the middle of Akihabara. Tiny rooms but clean. Just be warned that the staff can't speak English well so don't be offended if they come off as not as-friendly as most hotels in Japan.Near Gyukatsu, a lot of restos around.
