  Was here over Christmas with my family. Booking was quick and seamless. Check in was efficient. We left our luggage in the concierge as we arrived early, check in was 3pm. Room was small but kept clean and tidy by daily cleaning. They provide toiletries soap shampoo conditioner indoor and outdoor slippers toothbrush toothpaste shaver and lotsm ore. They even provide you with a garment similar to a judo gi that you can wear in the room so you dont have to worry about house clothes in your luggage. They replenish everything daily. Very efficient.Front deak was very helpful and prim and proper and speaks good English. A noce old lady was manning the breakfast buffet section its a simple breakfast buffet really.Would i recommend APA hotel? Definitely.   Room size is ok. Not the smallest room in Tokyo I have been. Bed is super comfortable. Every other services is just what one would expect from APA Hotel. The only downside is there is no coin laundry machine in the hotel.Location wise, this is near to Bakurocho station. But the JR line serving this station is not as frequent as the circle line like Yamanote line.   Everything was excellent. Well located, 2 minutes wall to bakurocho station and 10 minutes walk tu Asakusabashi station.   Great location, lovely staff but TINY rooms

  First of all this hotel is in a great, quiet location with brilliant transport connections to the main metro and train lines to get to everywhere you need to go in Tokyo. There is also bus right outside to Tokyo station or Asakusa. Akihabara is within easy walking distance (20 minutes). There are also some great little places to eat near by and plenty of convenience stores - and even a Denny's within 2 minutes walk. It is also close to the stations that can take you directly to Haneda OR Narita airport. The reception staff are so lovely and polite, and were so kind helping me order pizza!! The rooms are modern with an absolutely huge TV (with all Japanese channels - but no complaints there we were in Japan), effective air conditioning, the bed itself is very comfortable with a memory foam mattress. We have travelled in Japan a lot and this is most certainly the most comfortable bed we have slept in for "Western" tastes. The pillows however are pretty horrible - hard memory foam, not too much of an issue as we just went to Daiso and picked up some cheap fluffy pillows for our stay. The room and bathroom are absolutely TINY, I mean the smallest room we have ever stayed in, with all our luggage and "stuff" even when stowed under the bed it was really claustrophobic. We were tripping over stuff - and each other whenever we were in the room, one person must remain on the bed at all times to allow the other person to move around! . The bathroom is so small my knees were up against the door .. however it's got a great little Japanese deep bath and every bathroom gadget going! The amenity kit is also amazing with everything you could ever need. They also provide a daily yukata / slippers which is really impressive for what is in fact an economy chain. There is a fridge and kettle in the room which is awesome for stashing away those 7/11 snacks! We were staying 13 nights so the room did start to feel really really claustrophobic, our bad for staying so long I guess! My 4 stars isn't actually for the room size, it's for the crazy room cleaning system. Your bed / linen is only changed every 4 nights, this is when the room gets a "clean" too. Because the room is so small dust gathers quickly and the room started to feel really shabby and unclean as it was never really given a good going over the whole time we were there. I actually went out and got my own cleaning wipes and spray as the desk where we were making tea and the black wood work in the room was getting really dusty, I was worried about it getting ruined and permanently stained from my excessive tea consumption and drips. I absolutely accept from an environmental perspective that linen changing in hotels is excessive and we didn't mind the 4 day bed change (the hotel also runs a strict recycling policy - which is great) , however I do think a daily hoover and dust up / bathroom clean is essential in a room so tiny as it just started to feel so gross! Would absolutely choose to stay in an APA hotel again next time we are in Japan though.
