This was our first hotel in Japan, and it was the perfect choice. Staff were so friendly and helpful and made check in easy for us, which was appreciated after a 14 hr flight...The location is great, close to the subway and train stations, and lots of convenience stores around. Such a quiet area too, we couldn't hear the outside from the room at all.We had breakfast included, which again was nice being new into the country, and it was really really good food. A fab variety of Japanese and Western options, and staff in the restaurant were really friendly.The room itself was nice and clean, and spacious enough, though the bed was pretty hard and I did have backpain after the third night. Good quality amenities and we got free drinks from the vendor for not needing housekeeping.

We found it easy to navigate the subway from here to Tokyo, Shinjuku, Akihabara and the baseball game. This time we found the air conditioning hard to get working. It was either too hot or too cold. Zero English on the remote but I could use my phone to translate. The only thing that we would have preferred was to have a safety box in the room. When it rained they loaned us an umbrellaThe usual amenities like hair brush, face cloths, Q-tips were available. The nicest thing was protein bars provided in the lobby during the day. We appreciated this as sometimes we were between meals or on the way out. Beds were not too hard but certainly weren’t soft. Pillow was ok. Room was smaller than most other rooms we booked over the past 3 weeks but it was doable. Front desk staff was very friendly and some of the staff spoke great English.

Location: great for us. Only 1 train from Haneda Airport. From Narita Airport, Keisei Liner to Ueno or Nippori, transfer to JR Lines to Akihabara, then to Asakusabashi. It's a more quiet neighborhood vibe with local and chain restaurants, shops, pharmacies, grocery and convenience stores. Rooms: clean and comfortable bed, bath; everything worked as it should. At the front desk, Risa Iwasaki and Yen (who remembered us), provide sincere, professional customer service. Shout out to Shirley Muto, the super nice lady at the breakfast buffet (7-9 AM). Delicious food always start my day right:)

Very nice and pleasant stay, Route Inn Grand hotel has spacious public areas and rooms, for japannese standards, and offers complete breakfast buffet at a pleasant dinning area overlooking the hotel's patio. The hotel is conveniently located few minutes walk from a nearby train station.It also offers hot bath at the ground floor and all inroom amenities.

A very pleasant 5 night stay in this hotel. The rooms are comfortable with TV, mini fridge, great air con and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The hotel staff were lovely and accommodating, especially when my husband ordered packages to the hotel from Amazon.The hotel is just a few moments walk from the subway which is very convenient. There are some nice little shops and restaurants down the street. Please consider buying a couple of souvenirs from the man with the little shop a few doors down, he was lovely. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
