    Great hotel in a fabulous location, easy walking distance to convenience stores and many bars and restaurants just go out the door and turn right into street all within 5 minutes walk, beds are firm but facilities are great and they have the public bathing available. Breakfast had lots of variety and there is also a free coffee station in foyer. Friendly staff with limited English.

    Basic, but clean room well located near rail line and close to 7Eleven. The staff will go out of their way to assist you despite language barriers and are patient with visitors lack of understanding. Basic buffet breakfast geared for the locals rather than the tourists.

    Tiny room and bathroom. Clean and neat. Bed was hard as a rock. There is a breakfast buffet and a bar where you can order food. The staff speaks minimal English. It is not far from the subway. We spent four nights and that was more than enough.

    The Route Inn Tokyo is a newly opened business hotel ca.45min away from the city center. It is clean, provides all amenities you need ( except a gym). Supermarkets etc. are directly around the corner and the breakfast buffet is quite nice too.

    At $88 per night, they don't come much cheaper in Tokyo than the Route Inn. However, don't expect 5 star amenities. The rooms are tiny, only enough space for a bed and that's it. The bathrooms are similar to ones you find on an airplane. Hey, this is Japan so everything is pint-sized. The staff are polite and helpful, and the hotel is located 1 block from Toyocho subway station so getting around is a snap. Comfortable, quiet, no frills - that's the Route Inn.
