  I love this place

  My stay here was brief—just one night before moving on to my next destination—but the service I received afterwards truly blew me away.This is a self-check-in/check-out style hotel, meaning direct staff interaction is minimal. However, I forgot a scarf when I left. The hotel team provided excellent, comprehensive support entirely via email, quickly organizing the return shipment.There was a separate issue with the courier/shipping company, but the staff continued to help me through the process until the very end, ensuring the item reached me.I am genuinely so impressed by their diligence and commitment to guest care, even after check-out and with a fully digital system. Thank you!

  Good hotel, some minor improvements needed.

  Few improvements and this can be a great hotel!My check in was a little bumpy, it took 25 minutes to try download some app the check in a little earlier with the receptionist.. this wasn’t working, when they could have just checked me in earlier anyhow as only was 30 mins early, a waste of time. Once checked in, the receptionist handed me someone else’s passport, it took me 4 times handing it her back until she understood it wasn’t mine. I’m a British male, the passport was for a Russian female, quite scary as I could have easily taken that.. Little more concentration next time! The lobby is really nice and I spent many an evening eating ramen and having a few beers into the early hours. Fancy LEDS and anime branding is all over.The room is small but is fine, I spent 12 nights at this hotel and never slept badly, my only issue is the quilt and pillow, I have never experienced anything like them, very odd materials, the pillow is almost like a beanbag. But I asked for another pillow and they gave me one like back home. The shower is fine, the TV isn’t smart so don’t expect YouTube etc which is a shame.   first, I wasn’t sure about the location, but it seemed like it was a really good decision. Asakusa is a really busy area. The hotel is literally one minute walk from the main shopping street. You have many restaurants supermarkets and shopping malls around the hotel within 2 to 3 minutes. The room is small, but it’s very clean and there’s space underneath the bed for your luggage. Everything is spot clean and intact. The AC works very well and the view from the 13th floor was amazing. The Lawson in the same building is just a dream. I will save this hotel for my next Japan trip and I will recommend this to anyone at any time. there’s some free snacks in the morning and free coffee at any time of the day and the coffee was pretty good. there’s also laundry machines you can use and a big luggage storage room with lockers you can use for yourself at any time. the lobby is big and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They could change our big bills into coins when it was 1am. You can see the Tokyo Skytower 1min walk from the Hotel entrance. Very much appreciate such experience and service. 15/10

  Disappointing Stay

  The staff at the hotel was fantastic - very helpful during the check-in process. We arrived early, and thanks to a member of staff’s assistance, we were able to check early which was much appreciated. The second-floor lounge is a standout feature, perfect for relaxing with its selection of comic books and complimentary coffee and hot drinks. The shower was also another highlight - spacious and excellent.However, there were some significant downsides. We found blood on the blood sheet, which was extremely off putting. Additionally, the rooms are not cleaned daily, which might not work for all guests. The room layout is also challenging; the space between the bed and the door is very tight.   Great location. Not too far from subway. Easy to find with google maps. Self check-in is easy though there is a person to help.good rates.Very colorful & clean.yes. Rooms are small but sufficient. We spent most of the time out exploring.Able to store luggage under bed. Bath room is great. Toilet has all the gizmoes we don't have in the US.Shower has good pressure. Towels are ok.big tv.Beds are quite nice. Not too soft.lots of restaurants close by & shopping & temples.I would stay here again.
