  Great hotel and excellent location

  I stayed here with my family, all adults. The hotel is in an excellent location. Short walk to the train/subway station, food, night life and shopping. You can be anywhere so quickly. But the best part is the hotel was off the main street so it was nice and quiet. The hotel itself was nice and the hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were nice with anything you would need. I would recommend the hotel for sure and would stay there again!!

  Stayed at the Jr Kyushu Hotel for 5 nights. Even though we were in a higher priced room, the room was very small and not very functional as a result. We also found the rooms are getting to the point where they need a renovation although they seemed clean. When checking in they tried to pressure us to defer cleaning to every 3 days…..if we wanted to stay in an AirBbB we would have. Front desk employees were adequate but certainly didn’t go out of their way to help and there were significant challenges communicating with the staff. The hotel, however is in a good location, very close to Shinjuku station with plenty of restaurants, shopping etc within walking distance. I would probably not have written a review at all due to the mediocre nature of the hotel but …….we asked for a late check out, just 30 minutes and they advised we would have to pay 3000 yen. After a 5 night stay and they couldn’t accommodate us for 30 minutes?? Not impressive customer service. Would I stay here again, no. The hotel isn’t horrible but it is nothing special, with very few amenities and is not inexpensive but the inflexibility of the front desk staff is the icing on the cake.

  Everything about this hotel was good, centrally located but set back in a quiet location in Shinkansen.Nice restaurants close by. All staff are very helpfull but a special thank you to Park Jihyun who sorted out a priblem with our Shinkansen train tickets, we could not have sorted without her

  Crisis averted due to Saho front staff worker at JR Kyushu Blossom

  Our stay at the JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku was made exceptional by Saho at the front desk.After 20+ hours of travel, we realized my wife had left her hearing aids on the plane. Saho immediately took action—contacting the airline, helping explain the situation, and keeping us informed.What truly stood out was her dedication—she stayed past her shift to share the good news that the hearing aids had been located.We are incredibly grateful. Saho went above and beyond, and her kindness and care made a stressful situation so much easier.Thank you, Saho

  The location is superb and we would definitely stay in this area again. So accessible and easy for the shinjuku train station, restaurants and activities. The laundry is great and even a security feature on the door. The lifts were often a bit slow.The beds were comfortable. The showers amazing. The thing we didnt like is our window was like a waterfall with water pouring down the inside of the window - despite the dehumidifier in the room. The dripping would keep us awake at night.We seem to have paid a lot more for our stay there, than others and we arent sure what happened there. But it was a very expensive stay for us.
