  Great choice for Tokyo Station area

  I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Kyobashi for a total of 6 nights; one at the beginning of my trip and 5 nights for work at the end, with the hotel holding my luggage in between. I had a Standard 1 bed Double room on the 15th (top) floor and had a really comfortable stay. There was no view to speak of, but the room and the hallways had a nice modern decor. The bed was super comfortable and had 4 pillows. The location was great - I usually like to stay right at Tokyo Station for the ease of travel, but those hotels were significantly more expensive. The Mitsui Garden Kyobashi is only about 5 mins walk from the Yaesu Central Entrance of Tokyo Station, making it excellent value given the location. It’s also only 2 mins walk away from Kyobashi Station and under 15 min walk to Ginza. Housekeeping was great, with sheets replaced every 3 days (or daily, if that’s your preference) and the room cleaned and towels replaced daily. I liked the 2 cans of premium water placed in my fridge daily. The front desk staff were very helpful, making a dinner reservation for me and arranging or hailing taxis. The only thing the room lacked that I could have used, was a set of dresser drawers. If you want to be around Tokyo Station, the Mitsui Garden Kyobashi is a really solid choice.

  Good Location But Wish There Was Onsen

  We stayed here twice during the recent trip, overnight on the 14th floor over a weekend, and then for three nights at 12-11.The first trip was in a standard room, which was okay and had space enough to lay out the large suitcases. The bed was nice and comfortable, and the room had a very tiny safe (not large enough for an Ipad), a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.For the second stay, we opted for a larger superior room. Instead, we got almost a similar layout as the standard room before, but with a mini corridor which was basically useless to us. This room had a larger safe big enough for Ipads. Room cleaning was daily, which was great.There are no onsen facilities, which was quite disappointing as I had thought all Mitsui hotels would have this (we even had one in Taipei), but they did provide drinks and snacks in the second floor lobby each evening.Location is great, as Tokyo station is about 6-7 minutes walk, while Ginza and Kyobashi station are 10 minutes walk in the other direction. There are several dining options, including Excelsior Cafe next door, and a Meidi ya supermarket near Kyobashi station.Staff were generally friendly and helpful. There were ample charging points in the room, but wifi was a tad slow especially in the evenings. The lifts were super slow at times as well, and the lobby is on the second floor.

  Good location, centrally located within Tokyo. It's close to Tokyo Station (a few blocks away) and multiple department stores. 7-11 is nearby as well as a few coffee shops and a handful of restaurants (mostly chains though i think). It's close enough to a main subway station and far enough away from the all the crowds. It's definitely quieter at night, not much of a night scene. Stayed in a Superior 2 twin bed room with my two young kids so my wife and I had enough room to share a bed with one kid each. The Superior room provides a little more space, mainly because it has a long hallway once you enter which provides more than enough space to store your luggage (for us it also included our stroller). Beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and quiet. It's on a main street and theres always big construction trucks and delivery trucks driving by but I didn't hear a single one. Bathroom was a bit small and I wish there was little more counter space or shelving to hold things but we made it work.Staff was incredible, very friendly and professional. They did whatever they could to make my family feel at home. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the breakfast buffet was, it doesn't look like a huge space to have a buffet but they make it work and each day they would rotate a few items in and out. My kids loved it. For the price, it was very worth it and was a great way to get the day started.

  Convenient Stay Near Tokyo Station

  I stayed for one night as the hotel is conveniently located close to Tokyo Station, with easy access to trains heading to the airport. The room was clean, and the staff were helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay.
