We had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was really good, and the staff were very friendly and kind, everything felt like a 5-star experience.

    Good value for money

Whilst the room was small, it was adequate for a short day. We had requested a twin room and it came with a semi double and a single bed.We were lucky enough to get a room on the ninth floor, so it was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is committed to reducing waste and minimising it environmental footprint. We liked the amenity bar which hopefully reduces waste.Breakfast included a number of Japanese and western choices. It is located conveniently close to the Metro and there is an abundance of restaurants and shops nearby. However, it is a long way from the centre of Tokyo.

    I won't be back

Service was lacking at this hotel. Accuracy issue with the reservation not on my part and they were not accommodating, even the supervisor was not accommodating. They charged my card ahead of time even though it was not a prepaid reservation. We won't be back to this hotel.

    Very central, ideal for Disney

    rating15 Feb 2020

Lovely hotel, only a few minutes walk from Nishi Kasai metro station. Literally outside the hotel are plenty of eateries and supermarkets which only late into the night. Further the streets are lined with vending machine for both hot and cold drinks at fairly cheap prices. This hotel is ideal for those going to Disneyland and Disneysea via the free shuttle, 5 mins round the corner with 7.15 earliest departure but it gets filled very quickly so pre booking necessary. Only thing is on the way back, shuttlebus doesn't depart from Disney and the last departure is before the park closes which is silly. The taxi ride back is around £20.The rooms are very small as in most Tokyo hotels, which if you are just sleeping is fine. Small is basically you will literally have just enough space to open your suitcase and the bathroom is like a capsule. I will say rooms and the hotel are extremely clean and staff are helpful and polite. There's also a coin operated laundry which is very convenient. One thing we loved was the Japanese breakfast buffet without question which changes daily. You have things like miso mackerel, katsu curry, cold noodles etc as well as the Western style items but we were surprised that they were not greasy at all and delicious.Definitely recommended. This hotel is reasonably priced and takes just 15 mins to city centre, Tokyo station

Double room with a single bed?

    rating14 Dec 2019

We checked into the Best Western Tokyo Nishikasai on December 3 thru December 12th. Upon going to our assigned room 416, I saw the room was for one person with a single bed. I thought the desk clerk just made a mistake since we booked a double room for 9 nights. The female desk clerk said room 416 is for two people and the bed is a semi double bed (single bed). I asked if we could have another room which she replied no. I request a refund which she said was not possible. I requested to speak to her supervisor, and she told me she was the supervisor. It was obvious this desk clerk was being less than honest or delusional since she wasn't a supervisor. We endured sleeping in this single bed for two very uncomfortable nights. In all we spoke to one male and three female desk clerks who refused to help us. The last desk clerk was a Russian young woman named Olga. When we explained to Olga our problem she told us she would contact her supervisor for assistance. That afternoon, Olga left a nice hand written message stating her supervisor approved for us to have another room with twin beds. Ms Olga is the type of employee best Western should hire, not people who could care less about their hotel guests. I would like to thank Olga and her supervisor for recognizing two adults can not comfortably spend nine nights in a single bed. They made the rest of our stay in Tokyo enjoyable. Other than this incident, the desk staff was always polite and helpful.
