Lovely staff. Fast WiFi with European and US/Japanese electricity sockets. Room 18 sq m. Would be a squeeze for two. Minimal hanging space and no cupboards. Comfortable double bed. Strong shower in bath. Fridge and safe. Water dispenser on each floor. Excellent breakfast and lots for vegetarians. Lovely fresh fruit and vegetables. Omelettes etc. Breads and pastries. Free juices and some alcoholic drinks from roughly 13.00-20.00 in breakfast room. Coffee machine free to use all day in lobby. 10mins walk to Ginza line. Seconds from temple complex. I would stay here again.

    Great Breakfast and Lounge Experience

    rating04 Apr 2026

Was at this hotel for 1 night and my review as follows:1) Location:Very near to Akasuka Express Train Station from Akihabara Station. The station is just accross the hotel. Other stations are within 10 to 15 mins walking distance. Surrounding the hotel is the famous seoji temple, plenty of shops, restaurants, cafe, the riverside is within 10 mins walk so as the Skytree. The hotel is on the same building as Uniqlo and Donki. Sensational location.2) Check inThe hotel staffs are welcoming and friendly. 3) Standard Twin RoomYes, the room does feel compact but it was expected of Tokyo. However everything in the room is in good condition although a little old. I wish the bathroom amenities quality could be a bit more luxury/better as this is a 4 star premier hotel. I did have a good sleep at this hotel.4) Buffet BreakfastYes, the breakfast selection is quality, luxury and great. Highlight for me has to be the grapefruit juice presented nicely per fruit, the sparkling wine, the cod roe and the roast beef. Out of the 4 hotels i stayed in Tokyo, this hotel breakfast is the best.5) Premier LoungeWe were invited to the premier lounge for drinks and snacks (open from 1pm to 4pm and 5pm to 8pm). I am surprised and delighted the drinks choices were sensational. There's sake, wines as well as matcha powder. Really high quality lounge. Two thumbs up.6) Free AmenitiesThere's free amenities such as teas, coffee, skincare products available for guests at the lobby. Selections are decent. However, i find the drip coffee to be diluted and of low quality. Hope the hotel can offer better quality drip coffee bag. Also, there's free coffee machine for all guests to use all day at the lobby. This is a great touch.Overall, if the price is not too expensive, this is definitely a solid 4 star hotel choice. Alto the twin room standard is simple and compact and old, but the breakfast and lounge experiences were excellent and great for me. Two thumbs up.

Great Location, modern, good breakfast, reasonably priced

    rating29 Mar 2026

Great hotel and very reasonably priced when weighing location and quality. Loved staying in Asakusa, though it is in the biggest city in the world it felt more like Tokyo 30 years ago. Not overly inundated with western-ish vibe. Great breakfast Great staff. Free basics toothbrushes combs etc. Happy hour for a free beer too. We arrived last week of March, so the weather was hit and miss and the cherry blossoms were only just beginning. Regardless we had a great time. Excellent restaurant choices all around this area.

    Fantastic Hotel in Asakusa

    rating29 Mar 2026

I had a wonderful six-night stay at the Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa. The single room I booked was cozy, well-designed, and very comfortable. It came equipped with thoughtful amenities like a mini-fridge, electric kettle, pajamas, and slippers. Housekeeping was consistent and efficient—towels were replaced and trash collected daily through the eco-service option. Additional travel essentials (toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, etc.) were conveniently available for free in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was solid overall. While the menu remained the same each day, there was enough variety to keep things interesting by mixing and matching. I would have appreciated a few more Japanese-style options, though the Western dishes offered were all quite good. What truly stood out was the staff—every interaction was met with friendliness, politeness, and a genuine willingness to help with any questions or requests. The location is unbeatable. It’s just a short walk to Sensō-ji, right next to a massive Don Quijote, and directly above a large Uniqlo. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops in the surrounding area. Although busy during the day, Asakusa is more subdued and quiet at night, which I really liked.Transportation is incredibly convenient: the Asakusa Tsukuba Express Station is about a 2-minute walk, Asakusa Station (serving the Ginza, Toei, and Tokyo Skytree lines) is roughly 7–10 minutes away on foot, and Tawaramachi Station (Ginza line and Tsukuba Express) is about an 8-minute walk. The airport limousine bus is also easily accessible from Asakusa View Hotel nearby.I would absolutely consider staying here again in the future.

Fantastic location in the middle of everything.Downside was staff not that friendly and rooms very tight in that we had to shuffle around each other and our luggage. First breakfast we had to sign onto a waiting list and we waited then when we got in the breakfast was ordinary. Next time we got in straight away and breakfast hadn’t changed. It’s a real shame as the hotel could be so much better. Anyway we only slept here as we were out and about.Positive was great vending machines!
