  Great location for first time travelers like me

  I stayed here for 4 days then traveled to different cities in different hotels. I liked this one compared to what I got in Osaka. My room was the type with no couch. There was just room for both of us to lay out our luggage etc. Gratefully, the staff was really kind and knew enough english to help us with anything.I didn’t realize I had ordered a smoking room and when I asked to be switched upon check-in, they were able to swap me.The level of cleanliness was fabulous, and I’m picky when it comes to that. Some complimentary amenities included 2 pajama dresses, foot slides, razor, face towel, toothbrush and mini paste, and small compatible brush. Along with mini shampoo, conditioner and body wash.For a big building, the water pressure and the temperature were really great. The only thing was that draining in the tub felt slightly long and the water pooled at my feet a bit. If I turned off the water it would take no more than a minute to go down which is good. Another small negative was that there were no openable windows. This was true in my other hotel room. Keeping the AC and bathroom vent on made that a non-issue.It is a 5min walk from Shibuya station which was helpful for sightseeing around town. However, that station was the most confusing out of all of them for me and we would take a while to get out of their station/mall lol. The thing was that in some areas you had to go up to the third floor to be able to come down the right way etc. This was the only downside to staying here but we got the hang of it by the end of our time.I would come here again and recommend it due to location and cleanliness.

  This hotel was in a good location, but is very dated. It's definitely due for a face lift. But otherwise a great hotel!

  Great location to the station and crossing but surprisingly quiet. Staff very friendly, rooms small but adequate and clean.

  I was stranded as my online booking had been cancelled unbeknown to me. The hotel where I was contacted Granbell in Shibuya and they gave me a great offer for my four days in Tokyo. Especially one lady at reception, Rika, was exceptionally helpful with other services I needed (DHL) and went out of her way to help. The room was great with my own ”onsen”. The hotel is very conveniently located. Possibly I would suggest a renovation of corridors and passageways. Great value!
