  A good hotel in Shibuya, near one of the main transportation hubs. We had a small but functional room. We stayed there for a total of five nights and it was a good choice for exploring Tokyo and taking day trips to other cities.   Outstanding location, stylish hotel, plenty of steps to iron your clothes

  For convenience, this hotel is great. It sits directly next to Shibuya Station, and here's a useful tip: take the lift down just one floor from the lobby to the third floor, and you have direct access to the station and the Yamanote Line. You can be on a train within minutes of leaving your room. For navigating Tokyo, that's an enormous advantage.The hotel itself is stylish and nicely designed. The room had a little sofa, which was a welcome touch and gave it a slightly less cramped feel. That said, the room is compact and storage is limited — which, to be fair, is fairly typical of Tokyo hotels unless you're paying for a larger room. If you're there longer with a lot of luggage, as we were, it starts to feel tight.Breakfast was decent — a reasonable selection, though not the most extensive we encountered on the trip.Now, the iron. There isn't one in the room. To iron anything, you need to leave your room, walk the length of the corridor (and our room happened to be as far from the lift as possible), take the lift to the laundry floor, do your ironing, and make the whole journey back. Given there's also nowhere to hang ironed clothes in the room, this wasn't a one-off inconvenience — it became a daily ritual.   Good location but very hard bed.

  Very nice clean and quiet hotel but the beds are extremely hard. If you don’t like a hard bed you should avoid this one.   Good on the whole although expensive

  This is a nice hotel with reasonable rooms. The bathroom layout was badly organised, as others have remarked, but this seems to be a feature of Japanese hotels (although this was the most inconvenient that we experienced). The staff were quite polite but it would have been good to have had more information available about what to do nearby, and how to get there. I recommend (apart from the Shibuya scramble and Shibuya Sky) the little stream by the side of the hotel, an interesting old neighbourhood that you get to through the shopping centre, and an exhibition of Shibuya history in one of the towers nearby. All quite tricky to get to, but just hold your nerve! The breakfasts were OK although it would have been nice to be allowed to take away a bowl of cereal for a family member who doesn't do early mornings. (We asked but were rebuffed). There were free drinks in the bar in the early evening, but not every evening, and a promised DJ set did not occur.   Great hotel in a great location

  We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is in a great location and everything in the room was very good. It was spacious (for a hotel room in Tokyo) and immaculately clean. The breakfast in the hotel was probably the best, and most extensive, breakfast I have ever experienced in a hotel. Just amazing. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and so helpful - especially the young man who help us with our 3 very large suitcases down to the taxi pick up point.
