  Interesting Hotel.

  The check in process was quick and easy and all information given was easy to understand.Our room was on the 6th Floor and it was a small room but that was to be expected, it nice to sleep in after a long day looking around. The bathroom was small but that made it interesting and a nice soaking tub to enjoy after a long day's exploring.On level 12 there was the breakfast restaurant which was buffet style so you could enjoy either Western or Japanese style breakfast. It was quite nice the food for breakfast as you had plenty of choice. On Level 13 was the bar and lounge where you could order drinks and some food . You could go outside on the roof to enjoy the view on the city at sunset or in the evening.On level 2 there was the laundry room which had a combination washer/dryer and there were 3 of these machines. The machines accepted cards or you could use your Icoca or Pasmo card to pay for the washing, you could use coins also as it too 700 yen to do the washing/drying and it took 2 hours and 40 minutes for the washing and drying to be done. On level one were some vending machines you could use to buy drinks or food. There was also a small microwave you could use . There was also a currency converter machine you could use in an emergency to change small amount of money, but it would be best to go to a money changer to get better rates. There were 2 staff that went out of their way to assist us ,one was Kauruichi? ,who was a trainee who helped us book a van to take us to the airport and made sure that it could take all our luggage. Also should mention Kaguie? who helped us to make sure that the van that was outside waiting was ours and also help us to take luggage to the van .We felt safe walking around Kabuchiko at night as it made for an interesting experience. The closest station was Higashi Shinjuku so it made it easy to go to wherever you wanted to go. If you are ever at Shinjuku should try staying at this hotel for a few days just to experience it and the area.

  Beautiful hotel. Executive suit is large with a huge bed. Nice big soaker bathtub with a view. Highly recommend

  We loved this hotel in Tokyo. Staff were friendly and responsive. Everything very clean. Large rooftop top available for all and great venue for breakfast with lovely views. Best breakfast we’d had and we’d stayed in 5 hotels on this trip. Only downer in breakfast room was that the carpets need replacing! We did have an executive double which was fabulous with views of the city. Highly recommend this room on 15th floor.

  Pros: close to subway stations, clean, helpful staff, good breakfast. Near the action of Shinjuku Cons:hard beds, worn (tape around base boards), in the heart of “love hotels” (by the hour) and near the “red light” area so sketchy walking at night. Still thought the stay was good.

  1st time in Japan so not sure what to expect, our flight landed at 7am so arrived at hotel around 9am, we knew that we wouldn’t be able to check in until 3pm, but the staff were happy for us to leave our luggage and were able to put it in a secure area, and gave us a receipt for collection. Picked up a map of the local area and the lovely chap at the desk was able to point us in the direction of some things to do locally, the Gyoen National Garden is a 20 min walk down the road, and the Metropolitan Government building is around 30 min walk (google maps is very useful!). The Godzilla head and Samurai museum are also not far away. Returned to hotel around 3pm and checked in using the self check in devices, staff on hand to assist if required, headed up to our ‘superior room’ on the 4th floor, and whilst small (a common thing in Japan) it had everything we needed. Kettle was in a cupboard and you pick up tea / coffee from a desk in reception. Small bathroom/shower/toilet (I will miss the heated toilet seat!) and TV. Room was clean bed was comfy but after a 13 hour flight and a few hours of walking around Tokyo a bed of nails would have done! Checked out the following morning as going on a cruise, check out process was easy and staff were helpful. Went up to the restaurant to look at the view but didn’t order food etc so can’t comment on that. Overall, great place to stay, good location and helpful staff. Returned to hotel after the cruise and stayed in a room on the 6th floor, very much the same as previous room, and same great service from the staff.
