    Good but not great

    rating05 Sept 2025

This hotel is clean and located near train and metro stations. It is also right next to the Kabikocho area.Where you can find great restaurants and shopping. However. The bed was very hard and the room was pretty small.

    Not the best.

Not the best hotel i have stayed in, and for my first time in Japan i was expecting a high standard. The room was small, no wardrobe just a small recess with a few coat hangers, the bed was hard, the carpet was stained, breakfast was cold for the 10 days i stayed there. And "some" of the staff were very polite and helpful. For what i paid i was very disappointed.

    simple but good value

The single room is small but not out of the ordinary for a Japanese business hotel. The room is clean, the Wi-Fi is good and the location is great. It's close to Shinjuku Sanchome subway station and close to many shopping syreets and food clusters. Good value for Shinjuku.

    Location, location, location!

If this is your first time visiting Tokyo, or in case you haven't found the best place to stay at when in Tokyo, I recommend staying at the Sunlite Hotel in Shinjuku. Shinjuku has been by far my favorite place to stay in. I have visited Tokyo 3 years in a row, and Shinjuku has it all: culture, fashion, shopping, food, entertainment, everything! And if you can't find an ideal place to stay, then I have to recommend the Sunlite Hotel in Shinjuku. No, it's not as cheap as some of the other hotels, but what you pay is worth every penny for the experience your preparing yourself for. As soon as you walk out of the hotel's doors, you're within 5 minutes from being at the heart of it all. It's clean, ideally located, and friendly. One helpful tip, the hotel is separated in two, there is the annex, and there is the new construction. Please be sure you pick the new construction, not the annex. You'll pay a little more, but it's worth it.

Pretty good for location and price.

The hotel was only about 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku train station. Located in a quiet part of Shinjuku but easy access to surrounding shops and restaurants. The room was small, but good size for a Japanese hotel. Had all the basic necessities needed and was clean and tidy. Close to family mart a d 7/11 for snacks etc.
