  a pretty easy 10 minute walk from the train with our luggage which was not bad at all. nice area with lots of restaurants and bars around. Even though it is a busy area, the noise level was minimal at night. Breakfast was large with many options both Japanese and american style. Room was not very big but adequate for 2 people. Very clean. Good service. Would recommend.

  For the review of location, please check my last few comments for the same hotel.Again, no complaint for this 8 nights stay except the room rate which was so high in this December. Front desk staff are so nice that arranged us on the same floor with Twin room.They did upgrade the shampoo, conditioner, body soap from Pola to Refa. Also the hair dryer changed to Refa which was so good (even better my Dyson at home). For the shampoo and conditioner, I did purchase 4 sets from Bic Camera. Free coffee is provided at lobby as usual but more tea bags with different brands for choosing now.By the way, male front desk staff can fluent English which is so good for tourists.Once again, will choose TokyuStay Shinjuku again for my next vacation for sure due to safety concern. Get the Twin Room if you have enough budget as the semi-double room is so small which is only good for single traveler.

  Perfect Shinjuku Location + Very Clean Stay

  The location of Tokyu Stay Shinjuku is hard to beat—just a short walk to the main Shinjuku Station and less than five minutes to smaller stations. It made getting around Tokyo incredibly easy.The hotel is extremely clean, and everything felt well maintained. The staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay.The rooms are small but definitely larger than an APA room, and having a washer/dryer right in the room is a huge bonus. Daily room cleaning isn’t included, but you can get fresh towels each day and they’ll empty your trash, which worked perfectly for us. The full-size bed was comfortable, and my boyfriend and I had no issues with space. I also appreciated the free coffee available downstairs.Even though the hotel is in a busy area, the rooms were surprisingly quiet at night. Overall, a clean, comfortable stay in an unbeatable location. I’d absolutely stay here again.

  Helpful staff, great location, but not very smooth overall

  The receptionist on the first day was friendly and tried to help, but the check-in process was more complicated than expected, and our two bookings for a 4-night stay couldn’t be merged. No drinking water was available in the room or reception, which was inconvenient.The room was small but reasonable for Tokyo, and having a washing machine was useful. The location was great — close to Shinjuku and a metro station.Breakfast was disappointing for non-Japanese tastes, with limited Western options and cold, undercooked eggs. It also finished quite early, so late risers missed out. Prices were also cheaper just before our stay, which was frustrating after booking months in advance.

  The best part of this stay is the customer service of the staff, 10/10, they went above and beyond to help me with directions. Great location as well, you can walk to the train station and restaurants. The room was small, my large suitcase touch wall to wall. Asthetic and decor of room and hotel was very budget hotel although they are PRICEY considering for Japan. BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED and you have to pay an additional 2000+ Yen (I personally didn't try it due to cost and reviews).
