    Wonderful stay at Larsa Hotel

    My partner and I stayed four nights at Larsa Hotel in February 2026 during our trip to Wadi Rum and Petra. We loved the hotel. It is quiet and located off the main highway. The people at the hotel reception speak English and are very helpful. There are small grocery stores and ATMs within walking distance. The breakfasts were wonderful--including eggs, vegetables and potatoes with fresh fruit, yogurt, halvah, dates, olives. A great start to every day!

    It was really bad experience Very bad service The hotel management is very bad and rude There was a lot of cockroaches and the smell was very stinky The worst thing is the hotel management they were arrogant. VERY BAD BAAAAD BAAAS EXPERIENCE 100% I will never get back I don’t recommend.

    Hotel needs a renovation, bathrooms were very old. It is a reasonable hotel for one night, Staff is very friendly, breakfast reasonable, diner very good. Location good. However rooms at the front has problems with the noice of the traffic and the moskee (we did not, but a lot of people in our group). We were with a group travel, first we had a room at the first floor in the back, terrible noice because of the generator, than we received a room at the side at the third floor (very quiet), good and big room. Second time we received again a room at the first floor at the other side, however also with a lot of noice of the generator. Then we received a room at the front at the third floor. As mentioned we did not have problems with the traffic and the moskee, however the room was small and need a big renovation.

    Hotel extremely noisy and food of a low standard

    I stayed in this hotel for three nights and had a really bad time. Here is a summary.CONS:- Very bad soundproofing.Also because of the patio, the hotel is really noisy and you can hear a lot of noise from the room, especially at night. From 5 a.m. onwards you can clearly hear the good morning music playing on the lobby TV. On top of that there are noises from the busy motorway next door and the mosque nearby. Terrifying.- Food.Little choice at breakfast and dinner and above all poor quality. Didn't feel good in my stomach after eating there.- Heat.It was hot in the room like it was August even though it was 10 degrees in Amman on those days.PROS:- Staff.Very helpful and friendly staff.
