  Cancelled my reservation without warning, very unhelpful

  I had a reservation email via hostelworld which clearly stated that I had to pay the balance on arrival. At the reception they said they had tried to charge my credit card and it failed, so they had cancelled my reservation without telling me. I had to return a hire car so I asked if I could leave my bags and then come back later to return, they refused. Awful service, tbh from the foyer it looked like a dump anyway. Avoid!

  Worst hotel/hostel in all of my journeys!

  I arrived last night on jan the 8th 2023 after i booked on booking.com and for some reason they didn’t find my reservation, i had no other option than to reserve one night just to sleep the night till i resolve the issue as it was late, around 11pm.They came to my taxi which got me from airport ( it was difficult to find it, even by taxi drivers) and started to ask me rudely “where is your reservation “ although i haven’t even drop off my bags or talked to them about reservation, i think they were desperate for customers, then I couldn’t find my booking and they started telling my that their price is 20 Jordanian dinar if i pick a room with no heating service (air conditioning) and 25 with air conditioning, saying that “if you want you wife not to freeze we recommend the 2nd” as if it was normal to even mention this, they eventually got mad after i showed them that on booking my price was 20 jordanian dinar and on the site nothing about this was mentioned, the towels costed 2dinar each, no toilet paper, super dirty sheets, leakage of water, no heating ( as they didn’t give me the remote control for the air conditioning) the bed sheets had male hair all over them, pillows were smelly, on top of all this, there was an old man and a younger guy they both talked like i work for them, and kept repeating “ do you want us to argue and fight” just because i told him that he didn’t give us heat last night, disgusting people, the place sucks, the staff treatment is truly disgusting and I wouldn’t wish my enemies to stay here it felt like a prison, If you got here trust mye and never step in that place, as it would ruin your trip, i too looked at the pics from booking and got fooled, also the hostel is 1 star not what they show “hotel” and “3stars”.

  Excellent service in the town

  I found this hotel on book*ing, it’s the cheapest hotel in Amman but the service is damn amazing. They have free breakfast in the morning, free water! So you don’t need to buy mineral water in the store. This is very important because in the summer Amman is very hot and humid. The bed is clean, and all the staffs are friendly. Mr Jaber (the owner) is a travel agent owner. He can give many information about tour and travel around Jordan. And you can book the service if you want!

  I like this hostel. Excellent place, excellent staff. Especially the owner, Mr Jaber is very wonderful person. He give me free tourist information, room very clean, hot water 24 hour. I recommend this hotel for everyone.Location on the heart of the city, between the new downtown and old downtown and Jett bus company

  I had a nice stay at the Sun Rise hostel.Very welcoming family owned business.They organize cheap tours all over Jordan. They also have accommodation in several places. Also excellent value for money.
