  I visited the spa, so the review is for that nd the Askari at the gate.

  Reached the spa, was shown into a room. Started undressing when the masseuse asked me to go to.another room.as there was a client who only prefers service in that particular room.The massage was the only GOOD THING about the place. Felt relaxed. But after the session was shown into a bathroom where the water was muddy nd there was no heater. Opted to leave without showering.At the barricade there was a lady Askari who refused to raise the barricade, when I hooted continuously the male Askari by the name Peter opened the gate. I spoke to the lady who ignored me so I went back inside to the reception to complain. The receptionist was sorry about the mess, called the personnel manning the gate nd assured me that he will take the matter uo with their bosses.I would like to be told of the outcome.The spa used to be a great place previously but now sorry to say it is run down.

  Not Staying Here Again

  I spent a night and a half at the hotel this past weekend. A half because they allowed me to check in at 4am and not pay for it, which was actually something that I received very well.However, there were other aspects of my stay that may not have been significant for the hotel management, but which made my stay unpleasant. For example, the safe in my room wasn’t working. The batteries in the battery compartment of the safe were so old that they had leaked, and so the safe’s insides were messy and greasy.Secondly, the wifi was probably working half the time I was at the hotel, something that I found inconveniencing as I was also working.Finally, I was ushered into my room (1201) and the AC switched on. Since it was 4am when I checked in, I was too tired to exercise diligence on the workability of everything in the room. What I didn’t know was that the AC wasn’t working at all. Well, it could come on and huff, but the AC’s draught at 16 degrees was at about the same temperature as the humid air outside.Overall, I feel the hotel is rather too casual with guest comfort. But it’s a hotel that I won’t ever patronize again.

  WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

  I loved everything about this place. The place is clean especially the washrooms they are spotless. The staff are friendly and prompt. The food was good too, loved the roasted potatoes. The snacks were also assorted and healthy. I will definitely be back for a spa experience and I do recommend this place for a family Sunday day out or a relaxed evening by the pool.

  Really nice resort. There apartment complex are perfect for a family and the beach is a 10 min walk. The staff were amazing. The hotel is in close to everything, Nyali centre is a 5 min walk and even Haller park 10 min walk and the citymall.

  The good: Staff were friendly and had good customer service skills, the rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was clean and well maintained, the food and drinks were fairly priced. The not as good: My room had a smell of dampness had to change on day 2 to a different room and even then there was still a lingering smell in the new one, my TV was not clear at all, the remote definitely needed batteries, the pillows and beddings were old they definitely need to be replaced with new more comfortable pillows etc
