  A mixed stay with some good and some not so. As a long time diamond member I assumed I would be upgraded on arrival. I wasn’t! I asked the girl on reception and she said nothing was available but I showed her on my Hilton app that rooms were? She very reluctantly checked and then said there was a room free! She seemed annoyed to do it! The staff in the bar and restaurant area were really good and food nice and decent prices. At approx 10pm a car alarm went off which was unbearable! After 20 mins I rang reception but they said nothing they could do as outside the hotel. I went to reception and said couldn’t they locate it and report it, they said they had to building next door? After approx 1 hour and 40 mins it stopped but I’m not sure if Hilton did react? I left my charger and headphones in the hotel after check out and contacted the hotel. Your comments regarding the interaction at reception have been noted and shared with the relevant team for further review and coaching, as this is certainly not the level of hospitality we strive to provide.We are equally sorry for the disturbance caused by the prolonged car alarm noise. We fully understand how disruptive this must have been, especially late at night. The alarm originated a few blocks away from the hotel premises and, unfortunately, due to the nature of local emergency and security systems, there is no centralized command center linking all providers and properties for immediate intervention. Nevertheless, we regret the inconvenience caused and understand your frustration regarding the duration of the disturbance.Thank you once again for recognizing the efforts of our restaurant and bar colleagues, as well as our responsiveness in assisting with your charger and headphones.   Great Service and Friendly Staff

  Thank you to Brenda and the team for the outstanding service you provided to us during our stay. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. They were also very attentive and responsive to any requests. We found the hotel and rooms to be clean and of a high standard. Special thanks go to Brenda and Wellington and all the staff on the front reception desk; Chef Pratap Singh who could not have been kinder in making special dishes on request and also the entire restaurant staff who looked out for us. Special thanks to the gracious housekeeping team. Last but not least, Emma, Victor and Edwinn from the hotel taxi service who were exemplary ! We hope to return to Kenya at some point and would stay at this hotel again.

  Good pool, serviceable gym, okay rooms, heavy traffic area, and terrible food.

  The pool is really nice for getting exercise. The gym is clean and functional. The rooms are clean and functional.But man oh man, the food is expensive and well...just gross. Breakfast will set you back over 3000 KES. And everything is incredibly salty. Not like chef-y, fancy salty. Like the mineral blocks that are used for cattle salty. I thought it was perhaps one dish. Perhaps that an entire salt shaker had spilled over into. The next day when I paid over 3000 KES for breakfast of blubbery, undercooked bacon and some cantaloupe, the hot dishes were also incredibly (like switched the sugar for salt or something salty). Later that day, a colleague and I grabbed a meal. And she ended up not eating most of it. I thought maybe she wasn't hungry until she looked up and said "I'm hungry, but I just can't handle this much salt". I made mention a couple times to restaurant staff, but to no end. I also wonder if anyone tastes it other than the guests? Like drinking the brine from preserved lemons...So if this is close to where you need to be, consider alternative researching food options.   Good friendly service & food in the restaurant had good choices. About 25 minutes from the airport and was a good place to join out safari tour.
