    I attended a wedding at this hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with one member of staff during breakfast service.Before I had even served myself from the buffet, I was approached and asked for my room number. I explained that I was part of the wedding videography team and was there with the bridal party. Despite this, I was repeatedly questioned about whether I was genuinely part of the team and was told I needed to pay KSh 1,500 for breakfast.What made the situation uncomfortable was that the staff member continued pursuing the matter throughout the day, even after the wedding planner had informed him that it would be handled. I also felt singled out when he attempted to seat me separately from the rest of the group while questioning my attendance.I understand that hotels need to verify guests and manage access to meals, but this could have been handled far more professionally and discreetly. The repeated questioning and public scrutiny left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome while carrying out my work responsibilities.I hope management addresses this issue and provides better training on how to handle such situations respectfully, especially when dealing with wedding vendors and event teams.
