A So-So 'Airport' Hotel that is about 45 minutes from the airport....

The dinner made by Sylvester (grilled tilapia with veggies and rice for 600ks) was exceptionally tasty and good value. (My $50/night cost did NOT include breakfast.)My driver to the airport was 15 minutes late collecting me, even though we had confirmed, face to face, the precise pickup time (05:30) the evening before. Then another 30 minutes reaching the airport. Allow at least an hour to reach the Nairobi Airport, even though this 'Airport Resthouse' looks nearby on the map.Credit card machine did not work for payment, so I had to pay in cash and then wait more than eight hours to get my change back. The WiFi was just so-so, good some times, not so at others.The hotel itself was quiet, but there were nearby barking dogs through much of the night; you are advised to bring ear plugs here to get a good night's sleep.
