Location

The hotel enjoys a peaceful location in an exclusive district filled with art nouveau architecture at the heart of Riga, the capital of Latvia. Lying at the centre of Riga's commercial district, it is just a few minutes walk to embassies, the headquarters of several major banks, companies and state ministries as well as exhibition centres, sports centres and the old town. It is a short distance to an array of shopping and entertainment venues and the airport is some 10 km away whilst the bus and railway stations are 2 km away. The hotel may conveniently be reached by car as well as on foot.

Facility

9 junior suites, 12 suites, 7 single rooms and 225 double rooms are located on 11 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine. 2 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, central heating and a fan. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The sports and entertainment facilities at the hotel ensure that guests have plenty of activities to choose from during their stay. Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym and aerobics. Ski lifts provide easy access to the pistes.

    NOT THE BEST AC HOTEL, But still ok

    Not the best AC, kind of a run-down hotel, well located, 10 minutes to old city but super nice walk. Parks and churches, nice walkRiga is beautiful, has character and charm and is big.Around the hotel the architecture of the buildings is breathtaking. Many Michelin restaurants around the hotel away from the main central town where the tourist traps are.The hotel has small rooms, clean, but run down. Parking is convenient next to the hotel, park in the cheap garage not the expensive one, they are next to each other.Lobby is big and breakfast expensive, many options around a lot cheaper and better.So, overall, not my best AC hotel, would probably look for another hotel if back in this beautiful city, but if I have to stay here, I would be knowing its limitations

    The hotel is situated only about a five-minute taxi drive from the old town..which will only cost you four or five euros using the local service. The hotel is clean; rooms are modern. It just does exactly what you want for a reasonable price. Location is good; there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and here, just a short walk or drive into the old town. It does everything perfectly well but nothing exceptional.

    We were very happy with every aspect of our stay. Room was spacious,bed was comfortable,breakfast was as expected. Locatiion is perfect,surrounded by nice historic buildings,steps away from All attractions Receptiom staff friendly and efficient. The only minor minus was the bathroom cosmetics which seemd not to be branded or Marriott type level. Besides that we recommend this property in Riga. Spacious Lobby is facing the historic streets what with snow and illumination makes a perfect palce forBreakfast or just a Drink in the evening.

    We stayed here two nights after a disaster in the old town. Staff were friendly. The room was comfortable with an opening window. The shower was small with water pressure that could be better. The bed was comfortable. Tight stay with 2 people.

    I booked a room for two nights and I had an average stay in an average room. I found the room quite small, but it had a wonderful view of the historic old town, which is just about a 15 minute walk away. Generally, everything was clean, although I noticed that in the corridors the corners of the carpet where it meets the wall could have been cleaned better. Apparently the hotel itself does not have much to offer besides a fitness room when it comes to activities.I can’t say anything about the food and beverage options, as I didn’t use them.That’s it.
