Perfect for our requirements

Perfect for a one night city stay, prior to picking up our rental car and then travelling around Latvia. The Mercure is under a 10 minute walk away from the Old Town and just a few minutes away from the central market. Our room was large, clean and modern and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Nice, helpful staff, I would certainly recommend this hotel. Unreliable hotel, cannot be trusted to actually accomodate you despite confirmed reservation

Do avoid this hotel - they are unreliable and cannot be trusted to actually accomodate you even if your rooms are booked and confirmed by the hotel months in advance.The hotel simply sent us a message via the booking platform that they cancel one of the rooms. Reason - overbooking...not even 48 hours before check-in.It resulted in us having to rebook in abother hotel, with higher last minute rates ofc, not to mention the added stress we for sure didn't ask for.Book elsewehere if you want to avoid this unpleasant experience. A comfortable stay at Mercure

got to spend two nights at Mercure. As usual group check in so very smooth. Room provided in 2nd floor that is just above reception that is 1st. Rooms are typically designed in corners and using all available space. Even in room mirror so placed as difficult to see. Bed is comfortable. so is shower arae. Lobby area also decided as so many sub parts. Enjoyed breakfast that is good and sufficient. Special mention about Falafal and nice cookies.
