Charming Historic Hotel in Perfect Vilnius Location

I had an absolute blast staying at Algirdas City Hotels during my solo trip to Vilnius this September! The historic exterior gives it so much charm right from the moment you arrive, setting the tone for a truly memorable 4-star stay. My room was spotless, thoroughly clean, and wonderfully crisp and refreshing after long days exploring the city streets. One of the highlights was having breakfast in the dedicated space outside the main building, which made morning coffee feel like a delightful little garden stroll to start the day. The food selection was great with plenty of fresh options to fuel your sightseeing. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made sure I felt right at home throughout my visit. This hotel offered an extremely perfect atmosphere for my travels, and I will definitly be booking another stay here the next time I visit Lithuania. Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort, character, and quality in Vilnius.

Indecent exterior, poor breakfast, breakfast outside the main building! Clean but cold rooms! A disaster for a 4-star hotel.

Hotel ignored its own Reschedule Terms

I booked and paid for a room for December 31 – January 1 at the City Hotel Algirdas in Vilnius at a significantly high New Year’s Eve rate. The booking conditions stated that the reservation was non-refundable, but the date could be changed. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen emergency, we were unable to travel and informed the property immediately.After I notified the hotel, the property cancelled my reservation, and I received a cancellation confirmation. The room was resold, as availability for that day showed “sold out.”I asked the hotel to change my reservation date, which should have been allowed under the stated conditions. However, the property refused to change the date, even though the same room in January was priced at nearly three times less than what I had already paid. No alternative or fair solution was offered.Following this experience, I submitted an honest and factual review on the Booking.com platform describing what happened. However, the review has not been published, and I have not received any explanation as to why.

Stayed here in January and it was a nice stay!Rooms are clean, it was kinda warm and the hotel has lots of shops nearby.It took us 15 min to Walt to the old town, which was good too. Stayed there for 4 days and saw only one working person there (while checking in)

Not 4 star standard. After the check In I went to the room and first thing I noticed was the funny smell. Then I noticed that the Bed was in a small alcove under a slanting attic, detached from the main room, that meant that the bed was not reached directly from the air conditioner. Small Tv did not work properly, and was far from sight from the bed. Also in the bathroom every time I took a shower, water did not flow fast and a funny sewer smell came out.
