  Fifth floor is fourth floor but is really fifth floor

  Got room on the fifth floor, which was really the fourth floor but when we got to fourth floor had to walk up to fifth floor. Very crazy layout in this hotel. Good location for cathedral however. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, and are elderly, ask for help or find a hotel that will give you a room on the first floor.   My uncle and my aunt visited me On 1st of January and I soecially choosed this hotel because of location and good brand! But reality was that I was ashamed in front of my uncle and aunt because they gave room where couple was inside lying in bed!!!Such a shame with such a level of hotel. So guests please be attentive that either in your room might get someone inside or you might get into someone’s because the make mistakes, double booking same rooms. We had to wait almost half hour until they provided another room! Although they promised that substituion room provided is same in reality the new room was much smaller ( almost double less) and all furniture inside loooked old. Also it was cold in the room. Although the location is great, I wouldn’t sincerely recomand this hotel to anyone!   Not 4* hotel. Dirty rooms. Cheap fancy furniture.

  Third time at this hotel. Unfortunately - nothing changed. 1. After reservation at this hotel, they deducted from the bank account more then it must be. Still waiting payback. 2. Rooms not really clean and so old furniture. Dirty. 3. In shower - OMG there so dirty, everywhere hair, and - just empty shower gel tube. Well. And it means 4* hotel?… I don’t think so… Only one plus - location. Unreal perfect. But it don’t worth. It’s my opinion. Last time at Amberton hotel.   Great location opposite the cathedral, there were plenty of restaurants and shops near the hotel and it was a good base for exploring the city.The hotel doesn't have a reception, you will receive the room number and access code via text or email, there is no check in or check out. If you have any problems you have to WhatsApp the hotel management team.The room I had was spacious and looked quite luxurious with a balcony and a view of the cathedral and a little chocolate on the pillow on arrival. Unlike many hotels there was actually a proper wardrobe and drawers to put your clothes away. The bathroom was a good size and clean with shower gel and soap and towels.There was a good selection for breakfast which is self service, including bread with cheese and cured cold meats, croissants, toast and cereal, along with tea, coffee and fruit juice and the staff were friendly.
