    Excellence in the heart of Vilnius

    Vilnius is a city booming with FinTech, and it's very evident on the streets of the city, which has become very central-european in a few decades. Lots of bling and expensive brand stores, well-lit and safe-looking streets and a great selection of restaurants and cafeterias all around the city. Its population at just over 600k, Vilnius is very lively but not ultra busy, and seems to be very safe in terms of crime and violence, too.The Congress Avenue hotel is close to the Neris riverfront, along a quaint touristy street. Arriving by car, it was pretty easy to get to and has its own parking spots in a yard behind the building. The hotel atmosphere is very luxurious and clean, while at the same time being very affordable in respect to the hotel level, I think.My room was excellent. Clean, spotless and good AC and good amenities. Bathroom was spotless as well. Bed was super comfy and no noise could be heard emanating from outside, so soundproofing was proper as well. No remarks, a very good experience!Service was friendly and professional, albeit maybe a bit stiff perhaps, but that may just be a cultural difference.Breakfast was served in the ground floor restaurant, which was very nice. While very regular continental, there were clearly some local delicacies added to give personality - a nice touch. The food was fresh and tasty.All in all, this is an excellent hotel, and will very likely return here when I go back to Vilnius! Thank you!     The hotel is renovated and located at the entrance to the old city, everything is within walking distance. The room was great but it is better to ask for a room close to the elevator. The breakfast was perfect at the level of a five-star hotel, it costs 17 euros and is worth much more. The staff is professional, sympathetic and friendly. We were helped by the receptionists, Austja, who gave excellent service. We stayed there twice for two nights each time. We took two rooms and the tenant in the second room was also very satisfied. There is no doubt that we will return to the hotel the next time we are in VilniusOpen in Google Translate•

    Room and location is good, but staff is not helpful or friendly. On our stay in the middle of night around 1o’clock alarm system started ringing and didn’t stop for more than hour. Where the reception is the sound was not as loud, but there was no place to sit, and near by breakfast buffet with sofas was closed and administrator didn’t let us sit there because it’s “not allowed “ so we had to stand. They didn’t apologize or give us complimentary breakfast after that night sleep, very disappointed with our stay.     Staying at the Congress Avenue Hotel while traveling through the Baltics was an extremely fabulous experience. All of the staff were very attentive and most helpful in every way. I had an issue with my iPhone and the Manager was more than kind to take time out of his busy day to help resolve my issue. Just a great experience staying there in every way. If you are going to Vilnius - you must stay at the Congress Avenue!
