Very disappointing stay – bed bugs and no meaningful responseUnfortunately, our three-night stay was seriously affected by a bed bug issue. We experienced the problem during the first two nights and reported it to the hotel the following morning. The hotel did move us to another room, which we appreciated, but this did not undo the fact that we had spent two nights in a room with bed bugs and the discomfort caused from itchy welts across our back, arms and also legs What was particularly disappointing was the lack of any meaningful gesture/compensation from the hotel following such a serious hygiene issue. We had expected the hotel management to take greater responsibility/empathy for the situation, particularly given that two out of our three nights were affected.Changing rooms addressed the immediate problem, but it did not compensate for the disruption and loss of enjoyment during our stay. We left feeling that the seriousness of the situation had not been properly acknowledged.For a hotel of this standard, we expected much better — both in terms of cleanliness and, importantly, how a serious issue such as this is handled when it occurs.

Unsatisfactory no hot water for shower.

The welcome was great , friendly & helpful reception staff . There is no lift so if you book a cheaper room you might end up climbing the stairs to the third floor to an attic room with only a sky light for natural light. The bed was comfortable the bathroom was clean but not being able to have a hot shower in the morning was not good for me at all. When I checked out this morning I informed the receptionist about the lack of hot water and she did not apologise at all , but said YES , THE DIRECTOR HAS ALREADY BEEN INFORMED. So obviously I was not the only one to mention the problem today 12/05/26. My tip would be for potential guests is to enquire if the hot water system has been fixed on booking a room, and to request a lower floor room if you are old or have bad knees like I do. No I don’t want a refund or any compensation , not that I was offered , but the owners need to do something about the hot water problem , its just not good enough at the price.

I stay at this hotel when I visit Vilnius because it’s like an old friend that you know where you will be met with kindness. Not a posh place but a friendly place and the best location where you will always have a peaceful night sleep.

The stay was pleasant. The hotel is quiet, which is good. The carpet in our room has definitely seen better days, as it smelled unpleasantly and it was quite worn out. The second night, we asked for a spare room card, and the receptionist gave it to us without checking who we are or asking for ID. Thlo clarify, he was a different receptionist from the one who checked us in. For us, this was quite a security risk, as practically anyone could request a room card for any room without being checked first. I dont think we will be staying at the hotel again for security reasons.

From the outside, the hotel looks beautiful, but inside it’s not very comfortable. We were promised a 4-star experience with a pool and sauna, but when we arrived, nothing was working. Some of the staff were polite, but others were quite rude.Two days ago, I had a very unpleasant situation — one of the cleaners started shouting at me in Lithuanian (using bad language) just because I asked her to call someone to open the gate so our taxi could enter. My baby was sleeping in the car, and we had just come back from the doctor because our child was sick. I reported this to the reception, but they did nothing and simply said I should have called instead. As a guest, I believe I shouldn’t be treated that way.Also, we didn’t get the room we booked, it was cold inside, and we had to use an extra heater.The area outside is beautiful, but unfortunately, I paid for the hotel, not just the view.Overall, this hotel does not deserve 4 stars.
