    What a let off

    rating15 Jan 2026

My wife and I stayed at the Adya Hotel for 2 nights and on the second day, a male housekeeping staff just used his room access card to open our room without even knocking on the door nor did he ring the door bell. My wife was utterly shocked when a stranger walked into the room. As i was out, my wife told about the incident almost immediately and I called the hotel reception to request for an explanation and all the hotel receptionist could do was say sorry. Extremely disappointed.

    Overall a pleasant stay.

    rating30 Dec 2025

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. The food at Jelapang Restaurant was excellent, with à la carte dishes consistently served hot, indicating they were freshly prepared upon order. The presence of a travel agent near the reception was also convenient, making it easy for guests to plan and book sightseeing activities. For breakfast at the hotel, I felt there were limited varieties. They may add more options for breakfast. Example: fruits were always pineapple and watermelon. No poached egg available. The bathroom needs some improvement, as it lacks a soap holder on the wall, leaving guests with no choice but to place their toiletries on the bathroom floor. For guests who do not use toilet paper, the toilet setup is inconvenient. There is no handheld bidet spray; instead, a water hose with its wall-mounted valve is positioned behind the toilet seat, making it difficult for guests to wash comfortably.

    Mediocre Hotel

    rating26 Dec 2025

While the room was okay, it could use some updating. But the rest of the Hotel was not up to par. The staff was like Robots, unemotional and cold. I complained twice about problems in our room. It never got fixed. Restaurant food was not good and terrible service.

Below average hotel. Needs massive overhaul

    rating23 Jul 2025

The room is great. The hotel looks great. But that’s it. The staff are all clueless and can barely stitch two words together to make a sentence. They can’t speak and understand English well enough. Be prepared to crack your skulls for a minimum of 10 minutes over a 1 minute conversation. Breakfast - 2 / 10The food just exists. No heart, no soul. Bread doesn’t taste like bread. Milk doesn’t taste like milk. Again, for eggs, you will have to have extraordinary communication skills to make the poor girls standing at the counter understand what exactly u need. One day I asked for an omelette made up of 3 eggs. And what I got was two omelettes of 3 eggs each. No salt in any food. Room service: Just don’t order. It’s a waste of money. Horrible food with zero taste. And that too comes delayed and cold. Pool was closed for half of the duration of our stay. We stayed for 11 nights. 5 times a day they play Quran verses loudly in all their public areas. For someone from hospitality industry myself, I have never seen something like this. I myself work in a Muslim country and we have mosques where guests can go and visit. But having to listen to loud Quran verses in gym, corridor, lobby isn’t something I signed up for. They should list this out loud on their websites and all other sites, so that the guests can make an informed decision. Gym - namesake. Ignore this if u thought this is the reason u are booking this. The hotel truly looks outstanding from outside. And the room is amazing with nice view. The housekeepers were the best and the only ones who could speak and understand English better than anyone else. These are the positives.

    Warning: Do not stay here!!

    rating23 Feb 2025

Where to start, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. From reading certain reviews, this hotel sounds great. But wow, you will be surprised.Positives; parking & staff. The outside hotel looks nice.Negatives: Damp smell everywhere, aircon that doesn't work, anywhere in hotel. The pool area has missing tiles, damaged wooden sun loungers with no cushions, and 1 straw umbrella. Balcony has NO furniture at all. All the dated bedroom furniture is damaged. The bathroom towels are old and worn. The bathroom door is a complete mess, parts of the bottom door is totally mould, and the handle is hanging off. The bed sheet doesn't fit the standard size double bed. The walls are covered in marks. There is NO alchol served at this hotel. You are also NOT allowed to bring in alchol. I could go on and on. We arrived late in the afternoon and spent the evening looking for another hotel. Checked out the next morning. This is an Islamic hotel.
