Location

Located on the South-Western coast of Langkawi, the hotel is just a 10-minute ride from Langkawi International Airport and is close to Kuah Town. The resort sits on Pantai Cenang Beach, the most popular entertainment area in Langkawi with a wide selection of restaurants and pubs nearby.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 34 non-smoking rooms and 7 suites. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests of the resort can enjoy various recreational facilities, including the garden, during their stay. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, a laundry service and a hotel doctor. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. Daily newspapers will keep you informed.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, fishing and horse riding. With jet skiing, banana boat rides, canoeing, sailing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a non-smoking restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include half board and full board. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    The very best home by the sea

    This is our first time staying at this resort & we stayed for 5 nights. From the moment we arrived at the airport to moment we left (complimentary airport transport included in our rate) we were treated like royalty.When we arrived at the lobby, the front office staff came over to help with our bags. After confirming our reservation, they straight away took care of the luggage with check in being very easy.We were then taken up to our room with and was given a full tour of the room and ameneties. The room was huge (60sqm) and had good amenities as well. We had a balcony with a view of the swimming pool and with a seaview. I have seen some reviews stating that the rooms are a bit dated - one of the charms of the hotel is that the rooms are not sparkly and new and perfectly adequate.The room we booked had 3 sections - when you walk in a lounge and balcony with seating, another with a table and chairs with a fridge and finally the bedroom (comfy bed) with a small balcony. The bathroom was huge with 2 vanities, a bath, shower and seperate toilet. There was also a coffee maker with pods, hot chocolate and a jar of divine cookies. There were 2 x TV's.Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of pastries, asian and western food. There was also an a la carte menu with an order taken at the table along with a barista with excellent coffee and fresh cut fruit brought to you if you wished.The pool area is very nice with a bar and plenty of sunbeds, the beach is close and enormous! We ate at the hotel on 3 of the nights and the food is superb, in my mind could easily be 1 star Michelin quality. There were also many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.It is the small things that can make a holiday and there are plenty of small touches provided in addition to the high quality staff of which I couldn't single out a particular member, they were all great.We have been fortunate enough to stay in many hotels around the world over the years and in my opinion Casa Del Mar is the very best overall experience we have had anywhere. We will definately come back.

    Locatuon -Perfect 15 min from airport. Right opposite to the local market.Rooms - Big and clean room with almost everything you desire.Hospitality is an experience what Casa Del Mar has given us. Breakfast with a la carte choice was a very pleasant surprise with every dush ordered was very well made and presented. Beach dinner was a one time experience.Swimming pool was well maintained and clean with towels placed in your rooms and changed everyday.Thank you for a memorable ecperience.     Casa Del Mar has to be one of the friendliest hotels anywhere. Location cannot be beaten, it is on the beach. The garden atmosphere of the pool, bar and restaurant is second to none. Poolside service is great with iced water and small snacks.Our room was a sea view suite. Very comfortable and a good size with all the expected amenities.Staff everywhere is friendly and helpful. They come looking for you when necessary.This is our 5th visit over 14 years and we will keep coming back. It is a relaxing oasis in a developing resort town.
