  For this kind of accommodation around Cenang the Cenang Valley Inn is not unusual. As with most inn type accommodation in Cenang it is overpriced for poor quality and poorly maintained accommodation. The furniture at best is utilitarian and the beds and pillows tend to be of poor quality and quite often very stained. So what makes this place different? It is the total lack of respect for its customers. I complained to the manager about the fact that the shower head was broken and could not be used and the water in the so called wet room could not drain because there was no incline in the floor. The response I got was explosive culminating in being told to pack my bags and go if I did not like it. Unbelievable! The problem with this kind of accommodation on Langkawi is there is no sense of customer service. The attitude is to charge as much as possible, do as little maintenance as possible and sit back and watch the tourists flock in. As I said at the beginning of this review the Cenang Valley Inn is not unusual in this respect but but the explosive response to a simple request made it stand out. Avoid at all cost would be my advice.

  The operator are cocky and not physically around . Worst, I arrived past 7 pm and made to run around for the keys then search for the chalet ! No caretakers No kettle No hot water No aircond ! It is an "abandoned" chalet.Please dun stay here !

  We stayed in one of the newly build double rooms. The room wasn't really clean when we checked in (hair and dirt on the floor) and considering it's newly build it looked quite broken(cracks in the wall bathroom door not closing). It was a big room though with a fridge(quite nice on a duty free island). Aircon was not working well, but good enough. The problem is that the electric goes off when you leave the room due to a key card door system. The location is very good. Duty free shopping, cenang beach and good &cheap restaurants within walking distance (don't miss the Thursday night market, which is really close !) Friendly and helpful staff.

  Not bad for a small hotel as it's chalet type and had pleasant stay from 14 - 17 May 2016.. good for budget travelers. Breakfast is not provided but the location is good as nearby restaurants are available. Not far from Pantai Chenang.. Tips: ask for the new room as it's just been opened for business.

  I stayed here for a week recently as availability in cenang was quite low. The place is in a good location - close to everything in Cenang but a way off so it's quiet and there's a nice seating area outside. All the electrics worked and the water/toilet and there was a fridge and kettle in the room. Aside from this everything else was disappointing.The room was filthy when we arrived - it seemed as though no one had been in it for weeks. Dirty, dusty and smelly.We asked for our room to be cleaned on the second day and all that happened was our bin got emptied. Not good enough! We spent the week in a dirty room with no new towels or sheets. On the last day we asked for our bin to be emptied and they cleaned the room! Ridiculous! The tv didn't work, the fridge flooded and the air con settings were limited.There were a lot of people coming and going all the time and there are chickens that roam the grounds making noise at ungodly hours so if you're a light sleeper this will annoy you!Although it wasn't completely tragic and we didn't spend much time in the room, I would probably recommend staying somewhere else before considering here. It's not good enough for the price you pay. It's a shame as if the staff put more effort into keeping the place clean and ensuring everything is in working order it could be fine!
