    It is a tired looking, feeling resort close to falling apart. The reception desk has untrained, unsmiling, barely English speaking staff who are not bothered to make anyone feel welcome. The rooms that we paid for was far below quality, unacceptable sofa mattress which was torn which was horrible looking and disgusting. Everything was average about the rooms. After complaining we got shifted to a more human floor. The A/C was humming all night. The staff surely need intense customer service training as they were sitting and drinking during Ramadan near the pool. After complaining they vanished. Pool was the only well kept amenity although the towels were stinky and threadbare. Breakfast was below average with no one having any accountability. The chef making omelette would leave the station everyday and would come only when asked for a few times. Fruits were not fresh. Overall very disappointing experience.

    Very disappointed with our stay at Dayang Bay Resort Langkawi. The property does not match the photos shown online. Rooms were dusty, poorly maintained, and not properly cleaned. Towels looked old and yellowish, there was a urine stain in the toilet, and balcony cups were stained and unwashed.Housekeeping even left cleaned linens outside the rooms along the corridor. Breakfast quality was very poor — the spaghetti had a foul smell, and we stopped going after the second day.Definitely not worth the price paid.

    The view from pool is stunnning ! The rooms with outdoor kitchen and table good apart from that hotel is terrible staff always on there mobile phones like constantly! Pool today guys literally do not even look up when you take towels which are like rags ! Kids pool area broken sea saw which is dangerous ! Breakfast is barely passable . If you’re European you will not like it here . Indian and Chinese come and stay with coach tours . Cleaning is hit and miss and mirrors usually still dirty . Management needs to be more present to get the staff to perform in a way that’s hospitable !

    Horrible Hospitality and a very average hotel

    The most horrific experience where customer service is the least in all departments starting from reception where we had to wait for 2 hours as we had reached the hotel by 11:30am.The housekeeping department is very poorly handled as they do not change your towels nor your bedsheets daily. They need to be informed several times at the reception then only changes would be done.Last but not the least the worst breakfast experience of all times. No choices for Indian or American guests. There is no refill done, food is cold and no waiter is bothered whether you have eaten or not. Egg counter person does not understand egg preparations. The breakfast area closes at 10:30am, but there is no replenishment post 10:00am and the buffet starts getting cleared half an hour before the closing time.Honestly I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as it spoilt the whole experience of our stay.

    Atrracted by photos of interior design. Unfortunately it is not the case. It makes you feel like staying in a 2-star hotel. However, staffs are friendly and helpful, swimming pool is decent, duty free shops, convenience shop, laundry and restaurants are there when you need them
