  26 adults and a child visited Langkawi and stayed in Kelibang Comfort Inn for 2 nights. The place is very clean and the price is affordable. No frills, only the basics but it's quiet and clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is clean and big.

  This hotel is in Pokok Asam area of Kuah about 500 m away from Langkawi Parade Mall. It's in a new building with a 24 hour clinic(Clinic Mahsuri) and convenience store(Chois) nearby. It is about 2.5 km away from Dataran Lang and Langkawi jetty. Breakfast is not provided here. Several options are available outside. There is a Malay restaurant nearby and Chinese restaurant opposite. Also Nagoya seafood restaurant is about 200 m away on the opposite side. We had breakfast everyday at the Indian restaurant- Hotel Malaysia restaurant about 500 m away near Parade mall. Kelibang Comfort Inn is comfortable,clean and near the highway-easy to hail a taxi. There is tariff surcharge during weekends and public holidays like all other hotels in that area. Rooms are big enough with windows. They do not provide coffee/tea satchets in room. There is a hot/cold water dispenser in the lobby where you can make tea if you want. Iron box is available in the lobby. They provide room cleaning service and clean towels when requested. They have a dispenser for soap/shampoo in the bathroom. Chinese and Malay channels on TV. The front desk staff were courteous and attentive. But they are available at specific times only and not round the clock. Front desk is unmanned after 7pm but they wait for you for check in if you inform them in advance So I don't know if walk-in booking is possible in this hotel. Always better to book in advance on Agoda or other booking portals. If you aren't very particular about service,amenities etc and just want a clean,Budget place to stay with your family in Langkawi,you can choose this hotel. We felt safe and homely here. We hired Mr.Mohammed taxi driver(01124282058) who stays in the vicinity to bring us around Langkawi at reasonable rates.
