  Worst stay EVER at Best Western

  I had to wait for over 1 1/2 hours in the lobby for my room to be ready (cleaned) for a 4pm check in time. I arrived at 3:45 pm ahead of time and told it would only by a couple of minutes. The room was not actually ready until 5:25pm. I asked for another room but was told that since I had booked for a 5 night stay that this room was already booked for me and that I was unable to change to a different room due to the booking.I believe that since the check in time was for 4pm then the room should have been ready for that particular check in time and that quests should not have to wait in the lobby for over 1 1/2 hours for a room to be cleaned that should have already been ready, and that staff should not misled guests by stating that the room would be ready in a couple of minutes.I have stayed at this particular hotel 4 times in the past and this is the first time that I have ever had this kind of service. It us subpar!I was woken up at 7am the next morning after finally getting into my room and unpacking by hotel staff stating that I was to be given a complimentary room upgrade by management and would need to pack my room and move to the new room. I do not understand why this was not offered to us in the begging during that fiasco of a check in.

  We came as a group . The Jacksonville jazz society to attend the French Quarter festival.. The location was perfect.The staff are amazing Especially the Managers Ray and Daphane.The bellman Jeffrey greeted the group with a smile and professionalism. The front desk staff Nyqeille was there each day to meet every need. And Ms Toni and Juan the breakfast staff was on point and very helpful as to what we needed to eat in town with outstanding options. The room was a nice size and very comfortable

  I had a horrible experience with this hotel. I was give an interior room when I did not reserve one, the ft desk was very unhelpful to change our room. Th process took over two hours and she was very rude. It was after checking and none of the rooms were cleaned and our room was dirty, light bulbs were out and they didn’t clean the room untilAfter 5 pm I reported this issue to corpAnd no response. There are other hotels that are much better with friendly staff. I do not recommend this hotel

  Rey and Toni were excellent to work with. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms were gorgeous. It is walkable, clean and centrally located.
