  Good short stay, could have been better

  All staffs were good, esp the 2 lady masseurs at the spa. Very good at what they do, friendly and informative. The official website's room availability needs to be more frequently updated as non available rooms i.e. captains suite was also appeared available but was told it wasnt available until 6pm due to late check out by previous customers. Room cleanliness and maintenance were good. Stunning view of the yatch club, marina and walkable jetty. Was fun mostly.   Extremely Disappointing – Avoid This HotelMy stay at Ramada by Wyndham Langkawi Kuah was horrible and the worst I have ever experienced. The property does not meet Ramada standards at all. Though the views are good, the hotel is located in an isolated and unsafe area. After 11 PM, reception is mostly unmanned, and when staff were present, they appeared intoxicated. Rooms were full of lizards and insects—we encountered them daily. Management blamed the jungle location instead of addressing the issue. Monkeys roam freely and feel unsafe. Breakfast was poor with repetitive, badly prepared items. Housekeeping and staff behavior were rude, especially towards Indians. I paid an exorbitant New Year tariff via MakeMyTrip—complete waste of money. Prefer staying in the lively Chenang area instead.   Hotel is nearby to ferry jetty. But after 7/8pm it’s hard to find food options. Hotel was good with service and cleanliness. Front office was helpful. F&B need to be improved but when you see the environment & view for breakfast you can’t ignore it

  Overall affordable clean place. But the hotel is old looking and rooms are extremely small. But for a place like Langkawi this was a good option to stay as I didn’t more better options on the drive from airport or other places. Most of the hotels and resorts o saw close to oriental village which is far from airport. In fact Ramada is just next to the jetty point from where we need to go for island hopping and dinner cruise. So it was convenient to stay. Also it’s at a walkable distance from the harbour where people disembark which has lot of places to shop. It’s good to shop there at its duty free. Alcohol is cheaper. Each adult can carry 1 litre back from Langkawi provided they have stayed there for 48 hours. Overall Ramada is located at a convenient place.
