    A Cautionary Tale for Travelers—Looks Can Be Deceiving

    Sometimes we book a hotel based on glossy pictures and glowing descriptions, only to arrive at a place that feels worlds apart. Unfortunately, this hotel is a textbook example of that mismatch.From the moment you step in, the staff show you the room upfront—perhaps to manage expectations. But by then, you’re left with little choice: either accept the reality or forfeit your booking. The rooms are visibly aged, with fixtures in disrepair. There’s no wardrobe or cabinet for your clothes—just a handful of hangers with nowhere to hang them. The soap dispenser was broken, making even basic hygiene a hassle.Some amenities felt oddly incomplete. For instance, there’s a water heater for tea or coffee, but no complimentary coffee powder—you’ll need to purchase that separately. It’s the kind of detail that makes you wonder if anyone’s thought through the guest experience.The only redeeming aspect was the staff, who genuinely seemed to work hard to make guests feel welcome despite the limitations of the property. Their effort deserves recognition—but sadly, the infrastructure doesn’t support them.Unless major repairs and upgrades are made, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s a reminder that not everything online reflects reality.

    nice budget motel and nice breakfast too:) they have working swimming pool within the facilities. provide clean towel though a bit late due to high occupancy. they should improve on room and swimming pool cleanliness. otherwise nothing to complaint.

    No toiletriesSmall roomNo full restaurant, only buffet breakfast which you have to be considerate to fellow residents and eat in limited quantityHence I call this place a clean and neat budget Hotel. We stayed here 3 nights with family of 3 adults and 2 children and are perfectly happy with it. It is off the main central places and 1 km from shopping areas that are across the rivulet in front of the hotel and we always took Grab. Had to anyway coz we have kids.Given the price, we have no complaints. The shower could have been a flexi type hand held one instead of fixed one falling from the ceiling, small matter.

    Booked 1 night stay with the family. Room is basic and quite small but good enough. we enjoyed the pool to ourselves, plus point! breakfast quite satisfying, with hot dish, bread, cereal, coffee and juice. No close restaurant we had to take Uber to town, around 5 mins from the Inn. Recommended.

    Booked a family room and standard room (connecting) for a night stay at MATTA Fair togerther with transportation. We stayed at the ground floor. Very reasonable rate. The room is well maintained and clean. The staff incharged ie Cik Serina is friendly , Wifi is good. The pool looks clean but we didn't have the chance to swim. Overall we are happy .
