    perfect location

    very clean room and bed and perfectly located in the centre of town. unfortunately the plumbing is not great with the sinks not draining well and the bathroom smelling of sewerage. also check in is at 3pm and when i asked if i could check in at 2pm i was told that it woud cost me an extra 24 euros extra to be allowed to do so. otherwise staff helpful overall.

    We stayed here for two nights. Arrival into Pau was by train. We used the free funicular to get from the railway station (bottom of hill) to the hotel (top of hill). It would take between 10 and 15 minutes from leaving the railway station to getting to the hotel.The receptionist spoke good English and we were allocated an appartment located on the second floor.The room is basic with a small kitchenette. Surprisingly there was no soap for the sink in the bathroom (but it shower gel was provided). We found the room to be very cold (we utilised an extra duvet and blanket which was provided in the wardrobe). We opted not to complain - so we're not sure whether or not this could have been rectified easily.The room was not serviced after night one and we had just enough toilet paper to last us for two nights. Once again we are unsure if you would need to buy some or whether reception would provide some free of charge.A supermarket is located a few minutes walk from the hotel.We had breakfast on both mornings. It's a small area and you may struggle to find an empty table.

    We had a wonderful stay in the centre of Pau. The man at reception was very friendly and efficient. Our accomodation was close to many restaurants making it very convenient place to stay. We did not use the kitchen so my rating does not take this into account. I would happily recommend this accomodation to other visitors of Pau.     This was a very poor experience. The hotel and rooms were in dire need of good clean and renovation. Apart from the breakfast room everywhere felt grubby and uncared for.Hence the breakfast was ok, but lack of choice a had to wait while they went to the shop to buy a baguette as they had run out! Sums it up avoid. Renovation is a continuous process and I thank you for bringing my attention to certain aspects in need of improvement as it helps me to improve the quality of our apartements. It is very difficult to ensure that the outside areas are always perfect but I assure you that we do our best to maintain the common public areas and keep them clean. For example we are currently repainting the exterior walls but it remains a work in progress! As far as breakfast is concerned, we work with a local bakery which allows us to collect fresh baguettes according to demand. I'm sorry if you found this frustrating.     Agreable, quiet, and comfortable enough. It had a small park of its own. Kitchen ustensils were all sticky, which discouraged me from using them. Quite far from the down-town.
