  Nowhere But Homewood Suites UCF!

  When you're remembered at check-in you know it's going to be another great stay! The friendliest staff anywhere in beautiful surroundings and great amenities. Breakfast ladies make wake ups enjoyable, housekeeping maintains the rooms and overall property spotlessly. Special thanks to Moises who took into account our severe pet allergy issues and made sure we didn't have a recent pet room for our extended stay there.   A wonderful (quiet and cozy) 2-night stay, my first time in this part of Orlando.PROS:Delightful staff — everyone with whom I interacted (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance) were incredibly friendly and welcoming.My room wasn’t ready when I arrived (I did arrive 2 hours before formal check-in, so that’s on me), but the sweet young girl at reception gave me the first room that became available (awww).Shower gel etc in my bathroom was empty upon arrival — staff apologized profusely and refilled the containers immediately.Well-maintained (new!) and very clean room — I loved the modernization compared to some Homewood Suites I’ve stayed in.I had a package delivered and it was easy to locate. I had to show ID to collect it — I love that thoroughness/security!Grateful for a large guest laundry (3 dryers and 3 washing machines, all taking credit card or cash), but it was super busy for a Sunday afternoon!Excellent shower.Incredibly quiet overnight and I slept well enough.CONS:The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low/poor.Pillows were horrible and I couldn’t get comfortable when using them.No recognition of my HH status — but I’ve come to realize that’s actually not uncommon these days!On the second night of my stay, my entire floor smelled like marijuana and it was obvious a guest was smoking in their room … I mentioned it to hotel staff and was grateful they addressed it very quickly — but only by spraying the hallway with a potent-smelling spray, rather than stopping the culprit. The following morning someone was smoking marijuana in their room AGAIN (maybe the same person) and again it reeked out the entire floor. Gross.OVERALL? I would definitely stay again!   Terrible stay!

  Im a Hilton Diamond member and this is the second time within two weeks that I stayed at this location.Though the hotel has slightly been renovated the staff needs a renovation as well. This last experience was horrible. I arrived late due to a delay in travel. After checking in and getting 4 hours of sleep, I was awaken by front desk telling me to change rooms because the one I was in was booked.I will NEVER stay at this property again!!   Clean hotel. Staff friendly. Actually had something I could eat in the freezer section. Vegan Pad Thai. Beautiful courtyard.
