DO NOT PURCHASE….This place has roaches, the beds are filthy, and Tony at the front desk is rude and kept 50 of my 100 deposit because she said the bug infested room was smoked in. I have never smoked a day in my life

1. Very unwelcoming front desk young man. Seemed frustrated with me!2. Room had 2 broken lamps- not talking lightbulbs. The switches broken off. 3. Next morning- female behind desk also not helpful or friendly. 4. Breakfast? We were told there was only cereal but there were no bowls! Seriously? Waffle makers (plural) didn’t work. 5. Never again will we stay at an UNquality Inn. I would not stay here!

It's not terrible, but there are many better choices very close by
22 Aug 2022
I took an out of town guest over to this place for the night, and we can’t see the room numbers from the car under any circumstances. They are on the door facing in a font tht couldn’t be more than one inch tall. EVERY guest who rents a room here is going to have to get out of the car and get up on the sidewalk to see the room numbers. I dare say this is an insane thing to do for any hospitality property. The numbers ought to be on the doors in a big enough font it can be read from their driveway - day or night. There’s very dim lighting available at night, but plenty enough to find your room with suitable lettering. I feel sure these numbers are probably decided by some highly paid executive with a big degree in an office far away from here, who has never tried to see them or find his room from a car. The local innkeeper is probably powerless to change it, but that still doesn’t fix the problem. It doesn’t make me want to stay with this brand for my own needs in the future. Also, at the check in desk they have a sign proclaiming no late check out, even for their most loyal customers and preferred guests. That’s awfully selfish, and does nothing to foster loyalty to the brand, especially when space is available. Most of the time late check out is only offered by any brand if they have space to give; if they are sold out they probably won’t allow late check out. But, to just flatly refuse under all conditions is not a great way to get that customer to pick your brand again. I’m not a regular at this brand, but given what I’ve seen tonight I’d look anywhere but here if I did need a room. Obviously what the guest wants is not important to them, and what the innkeeper wants is the rule. They have forgotten who has the money, and who is keeping their doors open. I’m more than happy to close my wallet and look for an IHG or Hilton brand who acknowledges my loyalty and appreciates the business. This property appears to be in a slow decline. It's August in Texas, and the outside temps have averaged > 100 degrees for 8+ weeks, and every hotel should have a working swimming pool. The pool was covered over, obviously out of service for an extended period, and lots of trash accumulated around it. It just looked disheveled all over. The guest room appeared to be in great condition but the outside of the property showing it’s age. This was first built for BW if I remember correctly, but as hospitality properties often will do...it’s been re-branded. We have lots of choices around here and I cannot recommend this one over the others nearby. The desk clerk I can only describe as creepy, even though he got the job done after a fashion.I don’t recommend this property unless it’s the last thing available. The pricing was very attractive but caveat emptor. I’m looking for the quality at this inn, and it’s not jumping out and grabbing me for sure. There’s no food anywhere close to this place, and no retail either unless you’re willing to drive. The mall is just across the freeway but this place is sort of isolated by itself. They’ll give you breakfast they claim which is nice because if you were looking for real table service it’s a bit of a drive. It's not terrible, but I would not select this property for my own lodging needs.

Spend $20 more for good room
15 Jul 2022
Room was paid for by company on the standard of it's a choice hotel and they normally bring good quality for the price. Upon entry, the main lobby smelled and stunk of some very foul odor. Immediately telling myself "not going to have this breakfast!" The room was not much better. Dark curly hairs in one of the beds, 2 hairs in the shower, all kinds of weird stains on walls and furniture. You get the picture, didn't even want to take a shower, but ended up putting a towel on the shower floor. Spend the extra $20 or go another 5 min away to a better place.
