Good View of Mount Kinabalu, Facilities Could Be Better

    rating18 Aug 2025

The location is good, and the view of Mount Kinabalu is definitely a highlight. The room was decent, with complimentary 3-in-1 coffee and bottled water provided. However, there were several drawbacks:• No heater was available. I tried to ask the reception between 6.30–7.00 am, but no staff were on duty. During check-out, I only found out that I needed to press a button for assistance — this was not informed at check-in.• Ventilation in the room was poor, and the toilet had an unpleasant smell.• The absence of staff at the counter during the night is concerning, especially in case of emergencies.

Ceasar's Palace is a Great Location

    rating22 Feb 2023

The location is very convenient to many high end restaurants; however, this wasn't my first rodeo. I have stayed at Ceasar's many times for events. The accommodations have always been nice and clean. I paid for an extra upgrade for a lovely non smoking room, and I have enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool. Unfortunately, in the dry desert where you should be drinking extra water, there's 2 bottles of water in the room for $12.99 a piece. I just kept refilling my water bottle There's also a coffee pot and coffee kit in the room for $20. Fortunately, I was going to a Hyatt Residence Inn in Sedona after, so I had brought by Keurig cups and grind along as well as yogurts and granola bars for breakfast. If you don't feel like splurging on a nice dinner, there's plenty of chains with cheaper options. It all depends on what you are looking for. I have always enjoyed the Forum shops; however, most of the higher end shops that I used to frequent have transitioned to the Fashion Mall. Also, The cigarette smoke in the lobby is overwhelming. If you do decide to stay, be sure to use express check in. The lines are always long. In the past I have stayed at the Wynn, it's probably time to move back. This was probably my last stay here.

    Okay for the price

    rating04 Mar 2020

Best view of Mt Kinabalu is definitely from Studio 2. However, the room is very, very old and run down. Cockroaches, mosquitoes and cats. Wanted to self cater during our stay but there is no refrigerator in the room despite having a small kitchen. The lady let us store our groceries in the drink's fridge downstairs. There is no breakfast here. Cooking limited to one wok and a rice cooker. Very limited utensils, crockery and cutlery.

    Beautiful Hotel

    rating03 Jun 2019

This is a very nice Classy hotel with a huge casino and swimming pool. The food is expensive a little but it’s very delicious. I would definitely stay here again. The staff is very nice and helpful and it’s walking distance from everything.

    Friendly

    rating19 Jan 2019

Stayed here for a night celebrating new year with friends, arrived here we were welcomed with a very friendly receptionist, she was also being helpful and generous fulfilling our bbq needs such as knife, dishes and etc, credit to that, on the other half there are also rooms to improve:Rooms: Arent that privacy due to thin wall seperating room to room, you can hear clearly what your neighbour are up to, lol and yikes.Mountain view room arent that startegic located, it was located on the right side and hardly can spot it. But view is still ok.Shower, due to maybe sharing the water pressure, water is weak and sometimes no water came out from the shower (on my experience with the shower), not sure about other roomsNo tv, no 3 in 1 coffee tho i think considering the price, they should provide, and if you wanted to stay here a coffee is a must bcs u do want to drink hot begerages in the morning! Its haven with view and cool weather.Bbq you have to share the area with the others, and too much noise arent allowed, well thats too bad if you wanted to enjoy new year with friends when you wanted to enjoy music while bbqing. Gladly they allow us to do our bbq infront of our room. And we felt more private as we dont have to share space with others.Overall still a good experience.
