    Good hotel where everything works and the staff are efficient and friendly

    Check in was efficient with polite, professional and friendly staff. There's a luggage storage area in the lobby, but it isn't a separate room and is accessible by anyone walking by. The room was spotlessly clean, with a large comfortable bed and a good shower. Great sleep with no internal or external noise disruption. There is a working safe which is free to use within the room.We only had breakfast in the hotel, which was good and a wide variety of choice - something for everyone.There is a pool and a pool bar on the roof of the hotel which was clean and tidy.There is one small downside, which would not stop us staying here again. There is a new building being erected immediately in front of The Grandis, which is spoiling the views across the bay to the islands. The great view will be significantly impacted once the new building is complete.     A very good and comfortable hotel to stay in. I stayed here to attend a departmental meeting, and the spacious and well-organized room made it easy for me to complete my work tasks. I was also able to rest peacefully dan comfortably. The location, which is close to shopping centers,is very convenient.     A fabulous overnight stay on our way to Gaya island. The hotel is first class and within walking distance of the Jettleson Ferry. It was my birthday and the front desk staff noticed this upgraded our room, had a personalised birthday cake sent to my room along with a card signed by many of the staff. The stay was really comfortable and the buffet breakfast superb. This was our second stay at The Grandis en route to Gaya island and we would not cinsider staying anywhere else. There is a great Shopping Mall integrated with the hotel which has a very good food hall. The courtesy of the staff and the whole ambiance generally made this a fabulous start to our holiday. 12.00 pm check out was a plus too!     Wonderful buka puasa experience

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Had a truly wonderful buka puasa experience here. The whole evening felt warm and welcoming.Special thanks to Miss Salbiah and Mr. Ahmad for their amazing hospitality — they really made us feel taken care of.I wish I could name the entire team and the chef, because the effort at every station was impressive.The food was delicious, the variety was great, and the ambiance made the night even more special.Definitely a place worth coming back to!     An Okay Hotel

    We stayed here as part of a Wendy Wu tour - we were a group of 14. We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of the tour and one night at the end of the tour. The hotel is attached to Suria Mall that has plenty of eateries, shops, pharmacy etc etc. The room allocated for our first stay was on the 12th floor. We were in room 1205 which is close to the lifts, we could hear lots of noise from the corridor and people waiting for the lift and also road noise as to the right of our room was a very busy road. The safe in the room did not work and had to be changed. The air con did not work, something had tripped on it and it had to be fixed. Could not connect easily to the internet. TV picture was all pixelated. The room was a good size and had a desk in it, and a sort of sofa which could have unfolded to a bed for a child. Other than that the bed was comfortable and we did sleep well. The bathroom had a large shower. The toiletries provided made my hair itch and I bought one from Watsons in the shopping mall. The towels were not the best quality, or colour - the white having long faded. The room and hallways and communal areas were clean. For our second stay we had room 1121 on the 11th floor. The safe in this room didn't work either - a theme goin gon here ! It was the opposite side to the other room and had no road noise. It was a very large family room. The bathroom actually had a bath as well as a shower. The towels were white and fluffy. Same old toiletries though. Same old pixelated tv picture. Air con worked a treat. Bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The dining room for breakfast gets very crowded, especially if everyone is trying to get out to do tours. Often you have to wait for a table. The array of foods was sufficient for us, even if it was toast and jam, fruit and yogurt etc.The staff are very pleasant and helpful.
