    central location and great value

    rating04 Aug 2019

the front desk staff were 5 star people. Helpful, pleasant , easy to communicate with and trustworthy. We left our bags with them between check out and a grab to the airport. We stayed 3 nights. There were a few of us. The double /twin deluxe rooms varied a little. Some had an odour , but it wasn't unpleasant. The furniture and the linen were all clean , new and comfortable. Because the hotel is on the main drag through the centre of the city, traffic noise continues into the night. I get on with city noise OK. The hotel has a smoking floor, make sure you specify yes or no to smoking on your reservation. Seems odd to allow tobacco but not Durian ... Showers were centrally fed , but the hot water never faltered. The toilet /shower room is a little cramped. There is coffee and tea and water and a kettle. TV ? Yes. Quiet aircon which worked and was adjustable.Outside the hotel across the road is the Centre point mall. Yup. A mall . 20 m to the right is a cafe with great buffet food or menu from breakfast through to dinner. 10 MYR gets a person well fed and watered. Ten minutes walk towards the waterfront is the night market. You get the idea, ? The hotel is in a prime central location.

easy to find the hotel because it's really at the centre of town. walking distance to attractions spot. near shoping mall, centre point mall is just cross road. Imago and suria sabah was about 15min walking or grabcar only rm5 or less. near night market. comfy place with affordable price Vanessa o, Front Office Manager at Hotel Deleeton, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience at Hotel Deleeton, Asia City Kota Kinabalu. Decent and comfy in a perfect location.

    rating07 Feb 2019

Stayed here for 2 nights - first on Feb 4, 2019, and then again on Feb 6, 2019.This establishment is in a perfect location right across from Centre Point Sabah, and also a stone's throw from the infamous night market*.Concierge was welcoming, courteous, and very friendly. Security was pretty sound; main entrance is locked after 2100 hours and the only way to get in is for hotel guests to tap their room cards on the reader by the front entrance. WiFi here, which seems to be floor-specific, was strong. Note that no food is provided here and this is no biggie as there are a ton of eateries around, some even operating 24 hours. For the Feb 4 stay, I was housed in Room 305 on L3 - a single room along the side street facing north-northeast. Room came with a clean comfy bed, good aircon, cold mini-fridge, wall-mounted tv, a kettle, and a full-length mirror. It also had 4 power outlets in total - 1 in bathroom and 3 in room itself. Only downside to this room is the malfunctioning hot shower (spurts only old water) + low-pressure shower head. One other thing though, it can get just a tad noisy from the traffic outside so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear-plugs. As for Feb 6, I was exhausted upon returning from Mount Kinabalu trek at sometime between 1900 ~ 2000 hours for my follow-up stay at this establishment only to learn that I made a booboo in my online booking; have booked a single room for Feb 7 instead of Feb 6. The concierge team, however, was exceedingly kind and gracious. They offered to let me in by accepting my booking as a Feb 6 pre-book. And when they learnt that all single rooms were fully booked for the night, they gave me a complimentary upgrade to a queen room, room 313. I was so very relieved to just have a bed to crash into deep slumber as I was completely knackered from the summit hike and was desperate for some serious shut-eye. This room, while also on L3, sits directly across from Centre Point KK's main entrance. I actually thought it's quieter here than the side-facing single room I was in 2 night ago, or maybe it was because I was dead to the world in deep slumber throughout the evening. The duvet worked fine for me but on hindsight, it seemed a tad smaller than I thought it should be for 2 pax on a queen bedder.Room 313 was nice with the same standard outfits such as a clean comfy bed, good aircon, mini-fridge (though not so cold), a wall-mounted tv, a kettle, and a decent ensuite. Hot water shower, my first here in KK, was an absolute joy and it came with good water pressure. What's interesting is that I couldn't locate any power outlet throughout this room; have had to dislodge the power plug of the floor lamp just so I could use the power socket to charge my devices. Nonetheless, would I return for another stay? No doubt.*Side note: Have to try the fresh seafood which came with absolutely delish homemade belachan dip! Good value but could use updating

    rating27 Sept 2018

We git a great deal on this hotel. The staff were very accommodating and we were and to get an early check in. Location is central with many eating and shopping options nearby. As mentioned in the title of this review there rooms were a bit shabby and in need of updating. The desk and chairs had peeling paint and lots of wear. The AC was poorly placed and I could feel a constant stream of cold air blowing over the bed .
