Visit KK for a short trip with friends. The hotel stays at a good location which in the centre of town. The price is affordable and reasonable for students' trip. Their service is fast and good. Recommended for budget stay.

Very dirty bedsheets
26 Jun 2018
I’ve been travelling in SE Asia for the last six months in hotels of this price bracket, and sadly this is the worst I have encountered. I’ve only written one other negative review during this time but feel I should share my experience here and hopefully the hotel will make some necessary changes. I checked in late and was given my key. I asked for the WiFi password but the guy on reception wouldn’t give me it as he said there was no point, the signal was too bad. Yet the hotel advertises free WiFi in all rooms. The lobby is the only pleasant part of this hotel, it changes dramatically when you reach the foot of the stairs. The guy then watched me struggle up three flights of stairs with 2 large bags without offering to help. Here is where the main problem lay for me; the bedsheets were covered in large yellow patches, and strangely, ink (?). They were so dirty and had hair in them. There were also tiny bugs crawling on the sideboard. I went back down and requested a room change. He showed me to one next door. I didn’t need to inspect this one too closely - I could clearly see a red stain on the covers that resembled blood, aswell as more yellow patches. Also, it appears someone else is using the room or it hasn’t been made up, as there are flip flips by the bed and a used towel draped over the bedside locker. I pointed out the stain and the guy acknowledged it but said they have been washed. So on to the third room as it was too late to change hotels and I’d already paid. It was marginally better but I had given up hope of a clean room by now and resolved to sleep in my sleeping bag on top of the duvet anyway. For the record, it also had yellow patches, ink stains, and bugs on the sideboard. I switched on the bathroom light, which flickered for a few seconds and went out permanently. The shower emitted such a tiny dribble of water that I had to to wash at the sink, and of course the water heater didn’t work so it was cold. The room wasn’t made up during my stay. This hotel is currently not fit to receive guests in my opinion.

Honest Review !

At first i was skeptical about staying there in the beginning. but when checked the staff greeted me with smile, maybe they could have more friendly, but they help out whenever i asked them. As for room, it was expected of the price, i wasn't expecting a lot from the room. The room is comfy enough for a solo trip like mine, cause at the end of the day you're only gonna use to rest and sleep at night tho.And also, i love the location of the hotel its literally of the heart of KK. you can easily walk from places to places, numerous cafes nearby (if you're a coffeholic like me). All in all, it was pleasant stay.p/s: i heard they're having a special discount for the holidays HO HO HO !

comfortable and convenient

Recently I stayed in this hotel for the second time, more places for food and shopping for local delicacy. Like the pepper mud crab served in the seafood restaurant right at the back of the hotel and the authentic beef satay skewer across the main road and if you want booze, there is a new bar just opened across the main road.... the hotel is right in the heart of the town...nice and comfortable room with clean toilet. Linens, pillows and mattress are all new and these sure made me relax after a long day out...The front desk is friendly and helpful. And there is self operate laundry nearby if stay longer period. All places of interest are just walking distance. Simple and convenient!

Comfy beds & Friendly Staff

We heard a few negative reviews about this hotel. We were hesitant to stay here but since it was the school holiday, and all other hotels in the area were fully booked, we had no choice. We checked in and found out that the room weren't that bad. Yes, the furniture are a bit aged but the beds are new and comfy. We got the family room on second floor. It was huge! Both my husband and daughter (aged 15) liked it.What I like most about this hotel is the location. Nearest to shopping complex and easy to get food. Next to the hotel is a food court for seafood. Yes, many seafood restaurants. A little pricey but definitely fresh. If that doesn't fancy you, there are many other restaurant as well. Another plus is, the staffs. The staffs are friendly. They made us feel like we were old friends. If you are a backpacker, than there are dorms on the 3rd floor. I heard, the dorms have attached bathrooms. The hotel is 3 storey high, without lift. If you are on the 3rd floor, travelling up and down can be tiring. Decoration wise, maybe they can do more. It's almost pale. What else can I say? It was a good 2 nights stay for us.
