    Great location within walking distance of shops, food, and venues. Staff was extremely polite and accommodating. Very pleased with everything.

    Me and my wife came to Dallas for our 1 year weding celabration. We reserved the HYATT HOUSE UPTOWN for 15 days. After four hours of journey, we reached the hotel around 8:30 pm. When we arrived the recepcionist far from friendly, unpolitely told us that there was not card tap possibility, even i could see the sign at the machine. We provide two card which didnt work ( my card have worked perfectly in everyplace in the world, not just in US). After that she told to us: if you don’t have a physical card working you have to cancel the reservation. Simple like that. NO EFFORT, NO KINDNESS. She didnt try to help us. Just said: call bookin to proceed the cancelling. 9 pm we was outside the hotel, with some heavy luggages and calling to the booking and making a new reservation. When we arrived at the Hotel and i told that i didnt have the physical one, the answer was: no problem, we can do like this, easly and you are welcome. We spent 3 min at the front desk. To conclude: I’ve already been in more then 15 countries in last few years, additionally in at least 5 cities in US, and it was the ONLY place that didnt allowed tap Phone card, the phyisical didnt work and they dare to treat us as they were doing a huge favor. It was the worst hotel experience in our lives. Terrible.

    Excellent location. Parking garage is NOT secure. Budget situation but underwhelming care and maintenance of room basics - toilet handle, shower caulking, roller shade upkeep. Basically clean but the “worn” vibe in our room, hallways and pool area were disappointing for a Hyatt brand hotel. Breakfast service was great. Quality of the food offerings, meh.     Dallas hotel close to everything

    Staff is friendly and welcoming. Beds are comfy and the suite rooms have what you need for a longer stay. Breakfast is included and worth going down for. Beware that parking is 35$ a day on top of the room and housekeeping doesn’t come regularly. Nice pool and hot tub. Close to some great restaurants.     Disappointed for our only 1 night stay in Dallas

    Stayed on Sun night April 19th, booked last minute.Reception area very budget like and un inspiring, devor is dated and needs ro be refurbished, room while spacious with seating area/kitchenette/dressing room and bathroom was dark and musty.Breakfast very poor, parking and extra 35 dollars before tax.Won't be back General Manager, Marketing at Hyatt House Dallas/Uptown, responded to this review Dear Ailsmith,Our goals are to offer a bright, fresh, and comfortable hotel, so I sincerely regret we let you down in these areas.
